Building this kit right now and it seems the hardest part is the fabric and wires in the legs the fabric gets all frayed on the ends and don't want to stay in place
in 34, and i just bought my first gundam from amazon. can't wait to build it😅. When i was a kid, im so jealous with my neighbours who can buy this and for me having one is impossible 😂. and now here I am. collecting lego technics and Gundam 😂😂😂 healing my childhood while doing my responsibilities as an adult😂😂
i really hope you got that P-Bandai expansion for the RG Mk II, which has the Flying Armor and G-Defenser and if you do, you gotta show us how it looks
This was the first real grade I built. I was really impressed by it. Then I built the handgrenade called zeta… but sazaby and neu replaced my faith in the lineup
I'm building the Titans version and can't seem to get the cockpit hatch on. Also the back of the hip piece was too long for the armor panels to fit so I had to modify them.
As long as you use the gundam markers, you're good, as they are made for use on bare plastic. The tamiya panel line accent however is not advisable to use on bare plastic as most experienced cracking / deteriorating. Better top coat it with clear gloss first if you are using tamiya accent. Hope that helps :)
I'm not building for straight hours. I build everyday using whenever I have time. But if I could build this for straight hours, I guess it will take me 6-8 hours, that includes cleaning nub marks, panel lines, and water slide decals.

Thats ridiculous man, i don't know about amazon, are the store there official bandai merchant? Or just middlemen? Because it could get really rocky buying from middlemen
@@EKsDesk hard to say as Amazon has been building a reputation of raising prices on products to ridiculous degree, but on the other hand these prices are also from the direct page of Bandai hobby and a lot of their products just shot up in price. Trying through buyee soon, cause the price of it there in yen still matches close to what the actual price is.
Would you recommend this as a first real grade I’ve built a few high grades and am planning to get my first master soon but I’m choosing a RG for my birthday coming up. Any thoughts?
The shoulders. It can’t hold its shield or rifle out to the sides. Also the shield attachment is sub-par. I only display mine with a beam saber or bazooka while the HG’s get the shields and rifles.
If this kit is solid even thought its a Early RealGrade and RG Sinanju cant hold it even though its a MK-II frame, why sinanju just get FLOPPY i know its weight and/or bandai getting dumb decisions but they can just make a new solid frame or better do it after unicorn so Early RealGrade isnt a thing (THANK GOD FOR THAT, still waiting for RG Hi-Nu Gundam im going to paint it in the standard Nu Gundam colors since im not a fan of purple)
@@EKsDesk late comment: same here, also if Bandai announce the RG Nightingale, i might have to shove my gunpla to my basement (no not for murder but for storage) and just spend so much money on effect parts just for the 10 funnels and display it with the Hi-Nu
this was my 1st RG kit and it was dog shit, qc was actually awful. had 3 pieces snap with no force applied whatsoever, loosely fitting joints as well as the waist with the plastic skirt pieces kept popping off or falling off and would not click into place whatsoever. turned me off, but don’t get me wrong it is a sick kit but im not bothering w another RG after this experience

I built both MK II (AEUG and Titans) and they are hands down the best early RG kits
This early real grade looks solid compared to most early real grades and the build looks simple🖤

Mine is totally fine. I guess the rgs with waist issue are rx-78-2, gp01 kits, and those early seed kits
