- Hey all! Today I’m sharing our new Sunday routine of a mom & Kindergartener. From sports in the morning to meal planning & grocery haul for two to cleaning & fridge decluttering… tons of homemaking and prep for the school & work week ahead. I ended the night by sharing a cook dinner with me, easy chicken enchiladas that were delicious! I’m EXHAUSTED by the end of my Sunday routine but I love it. It reminds me of my childhood & gives me a sense of comfort in a way. Knowing I am set for the week & don’t have to stress as much helps me stay motivated. I hope to share some of this homemaking motivation with you all & give done easy tips on how to make your week a bit less chaotic/stressful : )

Field hockey is like almost unheard of in California. That looks like fun! We have my daughter in soccer but I feel like she would love wracking the ball with a stick! Something about sports for the kids on the weekends I love :)

Sundays can be gruesome. Field hockey: good for Sydney. We played that in school and it was fun. Barilla of some type is a must when shopping. Barilla is said to have the perfect angel hair width. The enchiladas look delectable, as does the sauce.
I agree with Barilla 👌👌👌 Sydney is a little social butterfly so watching her in activities has been the best 🥰 she truly blossoms

Did Sydney ever go through a picky phase? She has always been such a good eater! I offered so many healthy things and did baby led weaning and my now 4 year old is so picky! She seems to eat a lot of fruits and veggies! I got bad anxiety as a stay at home mom after weaning my son. It was bad for awhile, hang in there! Even though it’s a blessing being able to stay home there is also a lot more time to feel anxious or depressed❤
I have been so lucky with her eating. She went through a tiny phase of testing me & possibly not loving a certain food. But I never stopped offering them & I didn’t give her another option at the time. I know it’s so normal though mama so hang in there ❤️💪

When you do something like corn chowder or Mac and cheese for Sydney’s lunch, do you use a thermos? Or does she eat it cold?
Thermos!! I heat up the thermos with hot water beforehand as well to try & keep it toasty longer 😃

also, i totally understand about being set off over the smallest things, I know firsthand that it is much harder when you have little ones but probably a bit easier now that school has begun. You survived the first 4 years of no school lol, good on you! Hope Sydney loves school!
100% easier now with our new schedule/routine! I found my footing finally haha ❤️🙏 my fern is overdue for coming inside actually. I’m bringing it in tomorrow 😄 it’s in the 40’s at night & it doesn’t like cold

We do not currently go to church but yes we often speak about God in our home ❤️
