The 4 facet way specifically for those that can't grind drills by hand on a bench grinder......a very clever simple device that will make drill sharpening an easy task.
0:34 you need to do it with some feeling! In teh video one can see that the back of the drill is flipping upwards, this causes an error in sharpening the drill!
I think the reason for this small flip upwards, probably when the drill angle fixer/holder touches the drill slider, may be some slight angle misadjustment (the drill angle fixer/holder is by its 1 screw fixing over only may be 10mm not at an exact 90° angle to the drill axis, I guess this flip upwards will disappear when you flip the drill angle fixer by 180° because then a 91° angle causing a flip upwards should revert to a 89° causing a flip downwards which the drill is not doing, because downwards it is supported by the several sections drill slider over its total length). I think this flip upwards is small and will reduce the clearance angle only by a neglectable tiny bit. Expanding the drill angle fixer/holder to 2 or even 3 sections could eliminate this drill upwards flip, because over for example 50mm the deviation from 90° should be much less than over just 10mm. But such expanded drill angle fixer/holder will increase cost and makes handling more inconvenient and therefore the easiest way to tackle this inherent small weakness would be to apply sufficient push down force by your hand to avoid the flip upwards.

See the drill moving as the operator makes it touch the wheel. The geometry is wrong for sharpening a twist drill.. This cannot result in a quality sharpening of the drill.
I think you are misunderstanding this movement. This movement is included to show, that BEFORE starting the grinding you have to adjust the cutting lip to be horizontal as exact as possible . In my view the geometry of this solution is quite smart (includes 180° flip over to grind the second lip and a V-grooved holder that support equal lenght grinding for both cutting lips/edges and a fine adjustment/end point for grinding to accommodate this) and using a flat diamond wheel avoids all the adjustment/angle change problems associated with the round front of a stone grinder. With a price of about 200 Euro this lowest cost solution by a professional in drill grinding (you can find much more expensive Kaindl solutions for professional drill grinding) may however be only of interest for rather wealthy hobbyists who want to have a clean solution giving them full control on both, point angle as well as especially the extremely important clearance angle at the cutting lips/edges. With the 825 attachment made by General (Taiwan) there do exist a much cheaper solution, but this does only give you control on the point angle while the clearance angle is NOT really under your control. At only 10% of the cost of the Kaindl solution many hobbyists may prefer a $25 drill holder/feeder only to a 200€ solution that includes also the holder for a flat diamond grinder wheel (or at higher cost even the diamond grinder wheel), as for most hobbyists the clearance angle on the 825 attachment seems to be OK in practice. The most cheap grinding solution however is grinding by your hand, which requires you to fully understand what you have to do/how you have to hold and move the drill on specific grinders and to have a good feeling in your hands in combination with good eyes and some help tools like a drill gauge to adjust the point angle and the length of cutting edges to be equal, while the clearance angle can only be roughly get right be looking at the chisel edge angle to roughly be/result in 135° when the clearance angle is roughly on target.

Die Vor- und Zurückbewegungen sind hierbei essenziell notwendig, um den Bohrer zu schleifen. Der Kohlenstoff aus dem Diamanten diffundiert mit zunehmender Temperatur in den Stahl, womit die Standzeit des Werkzeugs stark begrenzt ist. lasst euch nicht verarschen.. :D

kaindlde habt ihr überhaupt eine Ahnung von eurem Handwerk? Das ist allgemein eine Eigenschaft von Diamant! Und übrigens... CBN ist für das bearbeiten von HSS und andere stahlsorten geeignet.
Bei der Schärfung eines Bohrers kommt es meiner Meinung nach nicht in erster Linie auf wirtschaftliche Bearbeitung = möglichst hoher Abtrag an, sondern darauf, dass der Bohrer bezüglich Spitzenwinkel und Schneidewinkel sehr exakt und sauber geformt wird. Auf gar keinen Fall darf die Bohrerspitze überhitzt werden wie es bei wirtschaftlicher Bearbeitung wohl sofort der Fall wäre, denn Überhitzung (sichtbar an Verfärbung des Stahls) würde die Härte des Stahls reduzieren, der Bohrer wäre selbst bei bester Formgebung innerhalb kürzester Zeit wieder stumpf. Weil Überhitzung der Bohrerspitze vermieden werden muss kann man also doch eine nicht wirtschaftliche Bearbeitung per Diamantscheibe einsetzen zumal die Diamantscheibe ja den Riesenvorteil hat, dass sie mit ihrer seitlichen Belegung eine sehr glatte Schleiffläche zur Verfügung stellt, während die Front eines Schleifsteins immer rund ist, was die genaue Einstellung insbesondere des Schneidewinkels viel schwieriger gestaltet, wenn nicht praktisch sogar unmöglich macht. In alten US Bohrhilfen findet man aufgrund der Probleme mit der Rundheit der frontseitigen Schleiffläche bei Schleifsteinen manchmal die heute aus Sicherheitsaspekten nicht zulässige Schärfung von Bohrern an der Seite eines Schleifsteins gezeigt.

Хорошая идея, при оборудовании наждака, вертикальная стойка. Надо будет подумать.
