- Labour MP Zarah Sultana, who was seen routinely embarrassing Rishi Sunak for his support of Israel in the last government, on Tuesday used her parliament speech to highlight the Israeli war crimes in Gaza. She said that most war planes being used to kill Palestinians have been built with parts supplied by the UK adding that the new Labour government must immediately end arms sale to Israel.

Her grandparents came from Pakistan, not long after its creation by the UK and was a British overseas colony…ergo, they had British passports. They were entitled to come. Ukrainians are Russian, both ancestrally and culturally. Do you have an issue with all migrants or only those that don’t share your skin colour‽

Not a brit here but i actually stopped at at " the 2 child benefit cap" what the heck is that 😂 i understand if they want to encourage ppl to get less children, but capping that is like punishing babies the moment they are born 😂
@@ryanforgo3500 our benefit system is unsustainable and therefore to reduce the burden, they capped the child benefit. There were families with so many children they were getting thousands of pounds a year and effectively free housing. The U.K. spends over 250 billion pounds of benefits each year. The above figure represents 25% of all government spending.

She's been kicked out immediately after this vote. the whip has been suspended. Probably will be given back at some point, or maybe like Corbyn never.

Imagine 1% tax rise on millionaires and 2 % tax on billionaires. Would solve most of the UK problems.and the rich won't even notice the amount gone unless their accountants tell them about it . But instead they save them more and tax the poor . .....
Massachusetts in Ameeica instituted a 4% wealth tax on income over $1 million last year. It raised over a *BILLION* dollars for the state of Massachusetts. That is the kind of money the rich are stealing from us.
They don't pay any tax , in relative terms they pay less that the average person on minimum wage, it won't be changed, these people control the establishment...
Do you know what percentage of tax is contributed by those paying over 40%
what about big businesses like Google, Starbucks Amazon, Tesco and Barclays back and others who pay a pittance in tax, what about the rich who find loopholes to dodge or evade tax? What about those who hide their wealth in Panama. Why should ordinary workers have their tax taken from their pay but the rich can pay lawyers to find ways to avoid paying their dues

I fall into the category but its how my money is being squandered and the average salary in the UK is well below the 40 % tax band. Its corporate welfare that is endemic .. as the writer below look at how much ££ the energy companies water companies but pollute our waters and then expect a taxpayer bailout - just like the banks: Yet the energy companies blame the Ukraine war for price hikes but profits shooting up at same time ??? so spare the 40% taxpayers we are not talking about them but the wealthy who for decades hide all wealth.. not the person on say 55k PA which is still not that high and go outside the SE you wont get the higher taxpayers..
