harp harmonics, cascading harmonics, artificial harmonics... it's got all kinds of names. The basic idea is that instead having to touch a harmonic with your left hand and pluck it with the other, you can do both on your right; this gives you the ability to make a harmonic where ever you want on the fret board, and it allows you to intersperse the harmonics with other (normal) notes that you would not otherwise be able to make. Lenny breau and tommy emmanuel do it quite well. Jody is a master I would say.
