Great content guys! I've been watching cat sailing for awhile now and your channel just popped up to me. My wife and I plan to be following in your foot steps, sailing that is, in the near future. Life is too short, enjoy it as soon as you can. I've lived near Tucson my entire life and if you need anything from here ever shipped to you I'd be more than happy to help out.
Gr8 boat seawinds. Ive owned a cat for 20 years and found it best to fly the asso as the only sail up. It stops the main sail shielding the asso. Keep enjoying the experience
I discovered you guys during the pandemic and watched religiously you saved me from going stir crazy. Life got in the way, but I'm back. You guys have by far one the best Overlanding/Travel/just living life channels around.Thank you and I'm so happy to see the new adventures.
Thank you for another great video. You were missed. It is so nice to see how fast you learn to sail. She looks amazing with that red, blue and white combination. You're becoming one of my favorite sailing channels.
I forgot how old your boat was but after about 10 to 15 years, the standing rigging needs to be changed out. Sta-Lok standing rigging is the brand that I'd go with because you can DIY and save money. Also, while your out of the water, it would be the perfect time to get a fresh bottom job and change your through hull fittings. Make sure that you keep soft wood bungs next to each through hull just in case one breaks. TruDesign and Marelon are the two best through hull fittings to get in my opinion. Brass fittings are made up of 30% zinc and the brass fittings are not solid brass which means that they have dissimilar metals like the ball valve. The ball part of the brass fitting is normally stainless which isn't good for electrolysis and they cost three times as much. Remember, knowledge keeps you cruising.
@@pimspropertysolutions3170 That's one of the two brands that I mentioned above and I prefer that brand over the Marelon which I didn't mention. The reason is because I like the Kiwis and think that they have a fantastic product.
I’m happy for you guys with the boat in all but I have no idea what you’re talking about 1/2 the time with all the technical sailing terms and boat parts…miss the 200 series content 😉
Loving the content .. looking forward to see what is next for 🪿 ⛵️
Loved watching the update! Can’t wait to see next week!

Wife and I are looking at buying a cruising cat and I’d be very interested in an episode about your search/selection process and criteria!
We have always called them e-coolers
Looks fun!

Colin @ Parley Revival just added composite marine fittings and valves by Trudesign which I think would be a better option. No more rust or corrosion.

Don’t feel bad, I’m solo and flew my new spinnaker backwards most every day for a week! Oops! 🧐🤭🤘🏼😎⛵️
Were you guys affected by the recent east Coast hurricanes?
