3000 means you can't just go for all fully evolved power houses, especially if you pick legends. You need to be smart about who you choose.

Yeah with 6k they could have had 10 mons at the max bst. It kind of made the money irrelevant for the challenge and they just chose whatever they wanted.
Even if they allowed legendaries they could have caught 8 box arts and still had over 500 left with $6k
Feel like lower budget would be super fun for this with legendaries allowed, since you could risk by taking an “expensive pokemon” and have to take the hit on a different one

challenge have 1 pokemon that have only moves that have bay there power - or 0 and if the have a move wiht power than change it wiht a rendum move that have bay power - or 0 and the rest of the pokemon have 0 moves that have bay ther power - or 0 and if the do chance that to a rendam move withe power
Comatose doesn’t just prevent sleep, it prevents every other non-volatile status condition as well because the Pokémon is treated as though they’re asleep without actually being asleep.
Downside to that is that Wake-Up Slap and Hex deal double damage to Comatose Pokémon, as well as the Pokémon being affected by the moves Nightmare and Dream Eater and the ability Bad Dreams

GG boyos. So 2 things to mention.
1. If you do this again, I suggest changing the color of the Cash Amount. The Green and White makes it blinding when you do Recaps. I would do it Red and Blue for Chilln and Quick respectively.v
Secondly, for the Paper Returns, I would suggest only a max of 2 Returns. If you get to Return everything then you might as well just do a Timed Team Build. It loses the Draining Tension of Funds if you can Return everything for Half Paper.
I agree with both, but the colors aren't the issue. Just too much bloom.
What tension of funds? They literaly could catch the highest stats for every slot and not go over budget.
6000÷570= 10 sumthin. They could catch a team of ten and not go over budget. So no point in having a budget unless there's a bonus for being under/spending the least. Of the budget was half as much or 2500 it'd be a challenge
@@cyruslever586 Because it's randomized so BST means nothing if they get no moves to use. A Regigigas with nothing but Leer, Torment, Swords Dance, and Bubble is next to useless.
All or nothing challenge. You catch any 6 pokemon you want and you are stuck with them till you have all 6. Then you have to decide if you want to keep all 6 or toss all 6. You can't pick and choose which ones you want to keep and you can't look at them till you have all 6. You also can't catch repeat pokemon. So what every you caught the first round is off limits for the second round.
This actually sounds like a very decent challenge video. Should make for an epic battle
How about a challenge like this: You can choose any pokemon you want. Completely randomized. However when you battle, you choose a number between 1 and 4. Which ever number is chosen, thats the move you HAVE to use regardless of what the move is until next turn. And to prevent cheeses, you cant pick the same number as the previous number.

Challenge idea: catch 6 legendaries, 6 pseudos, 6 fully evolved, 6 second stage evolutions, and 6 first stage evolutions. Then place them all in tier lists as follows for example:
Lugia $5
Metagross $4
Tentacruel $3
Pikachu $2
Rookidee $1
Your opponent has $20 to buy their team without knowing the abilities or movesets of their choices. From the Pokémon you caught. You can choose to spend all your money on just legendaries or create an actual 6 team Pokémon.
You know these guys are legit when they're willing to spend 6000 real PokeDollars each just for our amusement.

Here's a challenge idea, go shopping for physical pokemon trading cards. Whatever pokemon you get in the booster pack or decks will be available to choose for your team. After that, find those in game with random moves and abilities (also no evolving)
Video idea: The TM challenge: Instead of paying/budgeting for your mons, have a budget to pay to replace their randomized moves at the move tutor if you don't like them, but you have to decide what to change when you catch it, no going back to change it later. 9 catches each. 2000 money budget so you can't just completely customize everybody, Price = Power + Accuracy.
You two always have the randomized moves, I want to see how you do when you can correct your random mons if they have bum moves. Don't know if y'all will use this, but I think it would be awesome.
'Wimp Out' isn't exactly a 'negative ability'. I've always seen it as a good way of getting out a pokemon that I know will probably faint in the next hit if it's against a massive attacker.

This surprises me Haxorus is not considered a Pseudo-legendary Pokémon. The term "Pseudo-legendary" refers to a group of Pokémon that have a three-stage evolution line and specific base stat totals. These Pokémon are often characterized by their high stats and the fact that they have a base stat total of 600. Like WHAT. great video by the way.

here's an idea on an additional take on this. give a one time purchase of each of these: swap any move, give any ability (maybe no super OP like pure power etc), and change nature. could be like increase cost by 50% or some static amount that seems reasonbable. Or maybe if you don't want to do ANY move/ability, you can pay extra to use ability pill or use the move re learner.
I love how quick forgot how strong fairy types are especially offensively. They are more notorious for hitting dragons but OMG they destroy fighting and dark types too can't believe quick forgot that.
I'd love to see this again with return policy, BUT only if you have to decide on the spot after catching if you wanna keep it or return it. Also saw some other comments suggesting less money and legends allowed and I agree with that! Could yield some funny outcomes 😁

You should do this challenge again, but allow legendaries and sudos, but multiply their price by 1.5x or 2x. So for example, if you want to buy a zacian, it would cost you 1320 dollars. Sudo legendaries and ultra beasts could be a 1.5x multiplier

In addition to the detrimental abilities, perhaps also swap out the abilities that are useless (Illuminate) or coded to particular Pokemon (like Hunger Switch)
Not only would I like to see this again, but also had an idea for a different challenge. Basically it’s this idea but for their moves, since the randomizer isn’t always kind lol I don’t exactly have the details worked out so it’s more of a concept really, but say hypothetically that you would catch 9 mons 570 or under and each move you change costs 1,000 and you would have 10,000 to spend. Just to make it interesting lol
A fun little challenge I would love to see is you and chill both catch 9 pokemon (random or overworld) but the other person chooses the team you take in to battle.
As someone who never watches these types of things, this was very entertaining. Please do more
Challenge ideas:
1. You can only catch a single type of all the types in the game.
If the pokemon is dual type you lose both types.
2. One pokemon from every Gen
3. One random pokemon from each route
4. The wheel spin with all the different Generations but only fighting babies.

Came here to say that had Quick tried to switch out with Talonflame when Chilln had Jolteon with arena trap it would’ve worked because arena trap doesn’t affect fliers. Love the content btw!
i can’t remember if y’all have done something like this, i feel like you have, but if you haven’t you should catch random encounters for each other and describe them with emojis (you can make this straightforward or try to mess with each other) and then the other person can guess, and say whether to keep or skip (maybe only 3 skips allowed or smthn)

Challenge idea: How about a "Cosplay Event" challenge?
You spin a wheel to determine what you're cosplaying. Examples being superhero, witch, etc. Go crazy!
You then spin a second wheel to determine the event. Examples being tea party, photo shoot, awards, and so on.
So you catch 8 Pokémon that fit both your cosplay and the event. So if you got "Superhero" and "tea party" (weird combo but whatevs) you have to catch 8 Pokémon that a superhero would invite to a teaparty.
For the sake of balancing, no legends, mythicals, ultra beasts, or pseudos.
It's a weird challenge idea, but with how random it could get it will definitely be interesting.
Vid idea: a draft format! You each catch 8 random Pokémon from the wild, and then draft your team of 6 from there. It will go person 1->person 2->person 2->person 1->person 1 and so on until you each have 6 Pokémon. (The zigzag pattern so person 1 gets first choice, but person 2 gets second and third choices, it seems a bit more fair)

Wifi battles are full of legends. It's refreshing to see people battle without legends. Even when the option is certainly there.

I like this video a lot ! Maybe next time with the money left over you can pay to have an ability change randomly if you don’t like the current one, or change a move by picking it or random, but you have to pay for it .
Okay. On the 12th. It will officially be one month since I first started asking for this.
I have an idea for Scarlet and Violet. The two of you catch one Pokémon of each type. 18 each. Now. Once you have caught all of them. You can take turns choosing to pass or take. So for a fire type. If quick takes his fire type, then chillin has to take his. And vice versa. Same rule for passing. Now a couple of rules, 1. only one legendary. You can choose to catch only one. So for dragon. If you see a dialga first, you can choose if you want that dragon or wanna save you legend for later. 2. Only one of each. So if you caught a gallade for fighting. Then you can’t catch a gallade for psychic. 3. Random moves and abilities. 4 no backtracking.

I got a great challenge. You guys both have three random starters, choice lock, but rock paper scissors decides who gets to choose. So if chillin wins and picks middle quick must take middle as well.
So same setup as this challenge, add in the return policy for half the paper back, OR if you have extra paper at the end but if one of Pokemon (like the Aerodactyl) has no moves, you can buy a move or 2. Can add a limit of how many moves you can buy or pokemon you can mod just to make it a struggle but add the gamble to how many you want to buy

Idea: dice roll the amount of random encounters you can make in a turn. The chances you get to choose what you like, if you choose the Pokemon and still have encounters left, the turn is ended, if none are chosen and your on your last encounter, you must take the Pokemon regardless or skip the turn. Repeated encounters still count against your encounter amount unless it’s one you’ve already caught.

you should do that but with random starters where you say the BST to the other person and they have to take one with that number (you could also do a 2 truth 1 lie at the same time)
Do this but a LOWER amount of $ as you still have stacked teams with back ups. That way you need to negotiate what you buy. Great video- usually it’s a laser session
The randomized island challenge was cool could do something similar pick a biome in blueberry academy and catch the best team
Begging or end of dex:
You catch a random pokemon to start… then start the challenge… decide which letter from its dex you wanna choose before looking at it (first or last).
Based on that letter is the next pokemon starting letter. Repeat until you have 10 mons.

Great idea for a new challenge
If you are able to sell back it needs to be limited to 2 and at only half cost. It would entice spending big early and then smart buys at the end of the catching round
A good sequel for this would be:
3000 dollars, no legendaries, but no randomized moves/ abilities.
I think it would be good in scarlet/ violet and allow for some creative ways to spend limited money
Here’s a suggestion to try spin a wheel of sodas and based on what soda it lands on catch a Pokémon by the colors.
Video idea: THE WACKY FORTUNE WHEEL. You both catch 1 random encounter. Then you spin a wheel with the following categories - EVOLVE, CATCH OR STEAL. You keep spinning until you have a team of 6.
Evolve - evolve a Pokémon of your choice with a rare candy
Steal - Swap a Pokémon with your opponent, you get to pick
Catch - could be split into overworld or random encounters
New challenge idea
Put all gym leaders on a randomizer wheel
Spin the wheel
Whatever it lands on, you take that gym leader’s ace Pokemon
Do it ten times
Build your team. You can choose whether to randomize move sets and abilities or if you will make competitive teams
