My hearing is really bad, high frenquency from gun shots, but when I heard this beautiful melody my ears spread out like a eagles wings and I started picking up the words, a little here a little there a little here.. I wrote a song "Mining For Gold In His Heart", your song gave me the same feeling I get from mine. You have a fantastic country voice, and this song is a perfect fit. Amen brother. Pushing 73 and wondering where did it go. Cheating death everyday. Proud of my 4 years in the USAF. Career in aviation and the love of a fantastic woman. Doesn't get any better that. I accept its been a long run but some day death catches up to us all. All we can do is try to remain above ground.
You took the words out of my mouth. Turning 74 this august and still can’t believe it. Served in the United States Navy from 1968 - 1974. My wife and I will be married 40 years this September and we still look great for our ages. No medications and still enjoy ourselves together. Our kids have grown and now our Grandchildren are a blessing. Life has been good to us.

Hanging out with blues,reminds me of my 11yr realationship with my girlfriend for 11yrs. We were engaged and on February 25th will be 1yr and I still have so much pain because I wasn't expecting her to let me go. I am getting stronger but there is to many memories to erase 😢😢
