Synopsis: The Maharaja is eager to see his foreign-returned son, Bhanu Pratap who will eventually take over the reins of the region. When he finally gets to see his son, he is shocked to see that the crown prince is in fact a "clown" prince. He openly shows his disgust and disappointment, and decides to continue to rule. Bhanu Pratap and his friend, Kapil, decide to dress incognito and mingle with the general public and find out if there is anyone conspiring to dethrone the king. What they find out will change their lives, and endanger the lives of their loved ones as well.

First saw when I was a very young teenager, a schoolboy!
Living in a small coastal town of Tanga, Tanzania, East Africa.
Enjoyed it so much, saw it 6 times!
Kya music, kya acting, kya film!!
My nickname used to be SKP as I was and still am a great fan of Shammi KaPoor.
Then after Teesri Manzil, my nickname became Sona, and to till this day, my friends still call me as Sona!
Am seeing all the Shammi Kapoor oldies again, some that I haven't seen before: and some that I didn't even know of, especially his early 1950s debut films.
It is very kind of you to make SKP films available to his ardent fans all over the world, as a tribute and legacy of his wonderful contribution to the Indian films & the enjoyment he gave to us!!

And am seeing all of Shammi films again now - and I didn't notice anything different. But remain corrected.
Where do you think, the cuts are?
Teesri Manzil, when first uploaded was not complete, a whole about 30 minutes was cut !! Even the DVD, which I have, is not complete - same segment missing.
However, you can now get the complete uncut movie on UA-cam - Teesri Manzil, my alltime favourite film!
