- Project Eris is a softmod for the Sony Playstation Classic that allows you to backup your original PSX game disks to USB storage as well as installing Retroarch and Emulation Station that provide emulation for many consoles and platforms. We will also look at adding a wireless adapter to the PSC to have it join our wireless network so we can SSH into it as root, and SCP files back and forth. We will wrap up by configuring a Playstation 3 Dual Shock 3 wireless controller using the 8BitDo adapter.
Project Eris is one of the projects from ModMyClassic:

First time I see someone do this on a Mac. Thank you, everyone else that presented this procedure, used a windows computer.
Saw one of these PSX classics in CEX. They are cute, for sure. When they came out, people hated them, and flogged them on Fleabay for cheap 💰. Now they sell for much more. Suppose i missed the 🚢.
Thanks dude, very helpful video!
Actually you can format a thumb drive in fat32 using windows 10 in disc management in the control panel. You just make a 16gb partition on the drive and format the new volume fat32.
This is my second time using Project Eris.... My favorite thing I learned today was how to turn off that annoying menu music.
You helped me so much!! Thank you for this!! One question do you know how I can get ape escape to run on my ps classic ?!?! The Analogs aren’t working

my psc has stopped powering on recently. the power button does not light up anymore. what could it be? how to fix that? Do I have to use a usb 2.0 drive? I bought a usb 3 one, aren't they backwards compatible?
Did a usb 3.0 work?
Where did you get that otg cable? And did you have to download anything for it to work on the brand new ps classic? Thanks
He got the cable on amazon
How do you add multi-disk games with Eris? I seen a couple videos but it seems like they all start from the middle part with meta data or something.

Changed my reply. If you want to run Atari2600 in ES, the Atari 2600 core needs to be renamed. You'll need to plug flash drive into PC. Go to project_eris\opt\emulationstation\.emulationstation\es_systems.cfg and change stella_libretro.so to stella2014_libretro.so. You're welcome.
