- Hello everyone! This week I'm playing around with some canvasses and attempting to crochet a piece of succulent wall art. You'll have to let me know how I did!

I was thinking succulents make me think of deserts, but her tube pieces remind me of coral reef so maybe an ocean theme reef piece and the third like a jungle or rainforest vibe with bright florals and big plants. She def got my wheels turning thinking of ways to use this. It’s so pretty.

This reminds me a bit of Skein Spider's moss wall. The possibilities are endless! I really like the embroidered details. It looks fab!

This is absolutely gorgeous! I love the idea too! And actually as you were getting close to finishing it, it made me think of coral. You could do an underwater themed one :o I love this so much x3
I would love to see canvas with wildflowers, bees and butterflies :) this was a really cool idea and the succulent wall art is beautiful.

You should probably give each canvas a theme, or like try to make each canvas with a different season. Like spring, summer, fall, and winter

Yes!!! Would love to see another garden!! Possibly more trailing plants. Or you could flip the canvas upside down and use the wooden frame to make it look like a raised garden bed.

I would love to see a video where you make a creature/something with only/mostly parts you have already made. I made a little dinosaur a few days ago and one horn I made was too large, so now I just have a finished horn laying around. I imagine it would be so cool to use random parts to try and make a new creature. I have a little bag with parts that I had to remake and I really have no use for them. Maybe you do too, since you have made so many wonderful patterns. ❤
The joy on my face when I saw the zebra plants/haworthia. It's the only plant I own, I love it!

I think some ocean flora and some coral would be a really cute theme for one of these! Maybe even like starfish or urchins. I don’t crochet so I don’t know how possible that would be. Great video, it ended up so cute.

I love it! skein spider and you have the same ideas just at different times lol. wishing I wasn't working on something else right now I would definitely try this.
If you made a sleeve to put over the canvas and sewed the flowers to that sleeve you could make a bunch of interchangeable/seasonal pieces!
It would probably look REALLY a cool if you did the other three canvases like this, or very similar to this, and hung them up next to each other!

This is such a cute idea!! It would be cool to do like an underwater scene with coral, or like an alien garden with some weird shapes
Very excited about this because I love the idea of fake flower arrangement since A, I have a cat and B, I kill any plant that comes within 5 feet of me. I reckon one thing you could do is use the backside of the canvases and cover the surface with felt to hide staples etc, to gain that kind of "lip" or frame around the edge that some of your reference photos have. Themeing each canvas after a certain geographical location could be neat. Desert, rainforest, maybe an ocean one that someone else suggested. Would love to see more plant stuff for sure!
I'd love to see more of these! They seem like a fun project for people who aren't that great at crochet yet, as something that will help them learn techniques in a less high-pressure way. Plus, they're fun to look at. You should make some patterns available. 😀

This is absolutely adorable. 🥰😍🤩 I love to crochet flowers but I never had the idea to arrange them like this. But it reminds me of an exhibition in a museum here in Germany where two women crocheted a coral reef to draw attention to the coral die-off.
When I was at art school we had a textiles class where we learned about this and learnt how to do hyperbolic/parabolic crochet

I like your colors so much, especially for succulents. Happy that you decided to embroider/sew them on as well. The sound of the needle going though canvas was very satisfying.

This is a great idea! I took a picture of my best friend's wedding bouquet and planned to embroider it, but this might be way cooler!

I would love to see a coral reef kind of theme for one!! You could even add some little fishies to it! The little tubes on this one reminded me of anemones so that’s why I thought coral reef would be cool.

I think you should do wildflowers on a canvas. You could also try the ones that are famous paintings like "Stary Night".

LOVED this, would absolutely watch more, and mixing up plant types would probably let you maintain learned skills for how to approach filling one of these canvases while still make for lots of problem solving/designing, which is what I really loved in this make.
