I’m a 74 year old crocheter. I’ve been crocheting since age 7. Through the years some friends have teased me because I’m doing old people stuff. I never cared. I love crochet! It’s very nice to see so many young faces working in crochet, including guys! Keep it up young ones! Crochet is a great skill to have!
It's really sad that many people think this is a hobby for grandmas. They don't know what cool stuff you can create with yarn.

years ago I liked to crotched very little fruits, x-mas-trees, limones, lamps and ships and sewed a brochet- closure behind to wear it on blazers and jackets. All girl-friends I gave at easter, X-mas or for holidays, loved it

I love the tiny plants and animals.they are so cute...I’m French,I learnt crocheting all by myself and I love that too.I taught one of my daughters how to crochet and now she loves that too. I’m 72.

i want to crochet and make awesome stuff but it's soooo hard
Keep practicing everyday until it feels natural. It takes time to adjust to how the hook and yarn feel in your hands but you will get the hang of it once you find what works for you. Start small by practicing the basic stitches to build up your confidence. You can do this ❤

Don't give up! Get a hook and some cheap yarn and just chain stitch. Don't worry, you'll get the hook...er....hang of it in no time! 🙂
