@@BuffRANGE even the army has been working on getting it below 5 dollars per round, if memory serves. The super high price reported in earlier years did not seem to remain, at least.
@@blackberet9997well gray market is typically true cost. IIRC XM1158 unit cost originally was $11/rd. I’m guessing the Military pays no where near that for M993.
@@BuffRANGE oh yeah, definitely. My thought was that, if the army is getting xm1158 for a price that high (even one that has gone down with time), it's going to command something obscene on the grey market.

What is your opinion when it comes to the 196g Swiss P AP vs M993? I have and tested the Swiss P AP but haven’t been able to find any 993? How do they compare?
If I’m recalling correctly for collectors purposes there is a way to obtain a small amount of M993 annually but it’s a short list and expensive??? Just asking where did you source it? If grey market don’t share I can probably keep an eye out. Would like to know grey market or some other means?
Love this channel. Guy takes his job seriously
Thank you very much!
He's the best at armor and ammo. And I personally know him. He's one of the few that won't be corrupted by a company paying him.
Sooo much fire. Sooo satisfying
I need to find some more API :O
Damn. Expensive ammo/projectiles.
I wonder what XM1158 will command when it finds it way to gray market..

Spicy threats this time. Nice:)

Great Job!
The baba Yaga of armored plates
A general question… am I right in assuming there is no 5.56 round that can penetrate a military level IV plate out of a 20 inch barrel?
A military ESAPI? Rev G/J or newer and at 45’? Currently known correct. For now ;)
Test Agilite level 4 please!!
Agilite plates are Hesco rebrands :)

Sorry. It's a fine balance. If I don't talk specifically about a bullet, someone in the comments will start asking questions about it.
