Looking in July 2024. The London thrift shops always look so well set out but r more costly than your average charity shop I note. Fab Ladybird books x

Quite ambitious to try to find a number of items from London charity shops for £20, so very interested to see what you found for Freya - must have been very tempting to look at the menswear too!

Fun watch on both channels. In seeing her go to places like Cancer Research and St Christopher’s, it’s answering my question in the other video about the need for health-related charities in the UK when you have national insurance-so it seems one answer is it’s for research funding and probably niceties and other needs of patients-cool. I always like seeing about St Christopher’s hospice as it’s the original hospice upon which our US hospices were modeled :) That first shop has great women’s shoes, btw!

@@MrCarrington I've seen it all :) But I love to see more of it :) Maybe wit diferent amount of money to spent or or to buy only home decor or only clothes ( only one or two types) Or something like that. :) Just one idea, nothing more :)

Fun for us but I would be anxious shopping for Freya. She is always very lovely but particular in her likes. Will be so interesting to see if I picked any that you got for her. Wrote down all the shops you visited and I am hoping to pop in on a few of them in September. when I visit I will probably need to buy an extra suitcase.. And, here is a random comment: most thrift shops in Montreal do not have wooden hangers whereas all the ones in this video do! Cheers on a great shopping expedition, looking forward to seeing your purchases.

Am I the only one that gets a little peeved when British youtubers refer to charity shops as thrift shops?????? like their only audience is brits and americans. Why not refer to them as op shops like the Australians? Why always thrift shops??
