- There are many bird baths on the market. Mark's favorite bird bath is easy to clean, provides multiple depths of water, has a heated bowl and can be either mounted to a deck rail or affixed to a pedestal.

Excellent! Mark, I bought that exact birdbath for my mom a couple of years ago!
Winter, we plug it in to keep water accessible for the birds. In the summer, I put a tiny solar pump with tubing that drizzles over a flat surface just a few inches above it and the hummingbirds bathe and keep my mom entertained!
It is the best. Love the dropper idea.
Oh that bird bath is awesome.
The best!
I agree about birdbaths. I see birds drinking and bathing all the time in this Georgia heat. Poor things.
So important
Thank you for sharing this information. Take care, God bless
You are most welcome!
Two questions Mark. Will this bird bath mount on a metal deck 1:37 railing? Will it work with a water wiggler?
Unfortunately, it is not built for metal deck railings and the hump built into the center makes it not great for a water wiggler.
What do you recommend for a hummingbird bath? I bought this thing that looks like a rock, and it is a bubbling fountain that you put inside of a birdbath. But it turns out, the water needs to be pretty deep for it to work. So I had to get a deep dish to put it in. It is popular with other birds to get a drink, but I’d really like to see some hummingbirds using my bird baths!
For a hummingbird to use a water feature, it needs to be either very shallow but more preferable cascading or misting. I like using a mister tinyurl.com/yc5avth6 to spray water either in my landscaping or down into a water feature. The hummingbirds love to sit in the plants and let the water drip on them or fly through the mist.
Thank you! Do you have a link for the pedestal version?
We do not have it on our website at this time. I will try to get you a link in the next couple of days. Sorry

Mark I was wondering with the heated bird baths, is there an on/off switch or do you just plug them in? and what temperature do they usually keep the water at?
Most of them have a thermostat building and are set to 36-38 degrees.
Mark, thanks for the video. I had an old bird bath setup that I found in the shed when I moved into my home in Central Florida. I went away for a week and when I came back the bowl had been knocked off and broke. Do you have a recommendation for a bird bath that does not need heating. I don't want to pay for a feature I will not use.
There are many available for sure. Simple plastic trays, hanging and deck mount ones. Ceramic ones could work in your location. I would recommend the plastic insert types from Erva. We have a few up on our online store with more being added.

I don't have a deck and I want one that is off the ground (cats love ground-level birdbaths). What do you recommend?
This bath can be attached to the top of a 4X4 post of any height which is can foil the cats.
@@MarksBackyardBirds thank you.

Does this attack to vinyl decks?
Yes, it should
