Yes, the description is misleading. I read it as no power and no solar, and thought he’s talking about perpetual motion! Almost didn’t watch it. Nice project!
OK, the title is deceptive about the "no power". You don't need to be deceptive because this fountain is one of the better DIY ones I have seen and the use of the power pack is a plus. I have lots of cloudy days and actually would prefer an outdoor deck plug in but this will be great if a ziplock bag will keep the powerpak dry. And, I don't even have to buy a dremel or use a drill! Good stuff.
Yes, we have had good luck with using ziplocs to keep it dry in the rain. Works best when the zip part is pointed downward. Hope the fountain works well for you. What species are you hoping to bring in?
At first I thought it said no power OR solar in the title with this : no power/solar. But when I clicked on the video I knew it meant no power it is solar. Either way, I don’t know why you don’t have more subscribers! You cracked me up and explained it well. Plus your wife is funny too. It’s a beautiful thing to see couples like you. Thank you. Great video. Love the flamingo at the end. I just made one like this with a 5 gallon bucket. FYI, the store that I just retired from had a bakery that would give the buckets away (along with the lid). 5 gallon or the size you're using. These lids work great for the top since they're more stable. They just snap on and off the bucket. I do like the idea of the handle stabilizing the top of yours though. Gives the birds a perch.

Anti-climatic video. Almost 13 minutes long when the producer could have made the relevant information and instruction down to about 3 minutes. Yet another video produced by someone who didn't get enough attention as a child.
