Driving Toronto 4K HDR - Toronto's Main Street at Sunset - Canada

- Driving into Downtown Toronto on Yonge Street at sunset. Great to visit Toronto again! Toronto, the capital of the province of Ontario, is a major Canadian city along Lake Ontario’s northwestern shore. It's a dynamic metropolis with a core of soaring skyscrapers, all dwarfed by the iconic, free-standing CN Tower. Toronto also has many green spaces, from the orderly oval of Queen’s Park to 400-acre High Park and its trails, sports facilities and zoo.

was just wishing for you to upload a new Toronto video! hoping to be moving here sometime next year.
This is such an accurate representation of driving in downtown Toronto: Barely moving, stuck in traffic and hitting a red light at every intersection.
Paris is the City of Lights and Toronto is the City of Red Lights.
The only thing I found interesting was I didn't hear any honking, or any sirens.
Good point. I don't even live in the downtown core anymore but there's not a moment that I don't hear sirens or the constant beeping of a truck or workvan that is backing up.@@C-mac_in_the_6ix
Better than a red light district...unless you're Amsterdam...or the seedier side of Thailand.
Another fantastic drive, J Utah! 👍
Dear J Utah, if you do what you do for work, it is certainly the most beautiful job in the world.
I had no idea Toronto was so huge. Skyscrapers everywhere.
And still building more than anyone in the Western world currently
Metro population around 6 million. Yes, it's huge.
@@citibear57 and by US standard it would be 10 million
and its not just on this strip, there are multiple directions you can drive to have skyscrapers. Not to mention that the number of towers are set to double in the next 10 years based on proposals and approvals.

Thanks for your videos 🌍🚙
Love to see you in my city!!
Awesome ❤
Nice 👍
Toronto is the #1 Canadian city and that's better!🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁
Idts... As a foreigner who visited both cities, imho Montreal seems like a better city, much more beautiful and stylish than Toronto.
I think Montreal and Vancouver are better than Toronto
Vancouver and Montreal are far superior to Toronto, have better public transportation and are way more dense, feel more like a world-class city than Toronto.
@@essgee4225Hahah no I live in Vancouver and Toronto is so much better it’s not even close. In Vancouver, it’s only nature that’s nice, but the city is really small and boring
@@rsnankivell1962 Toronto is 50% larger than Montreal so the people who live in Canada prefer it 50% than Montreal
Great city 😮
Gloomy weather also, nice to see the city is flow of traffic.
Have a great day ahead.
Gogeous. Especially at 30:00.
Toronto is such a amazing city in Canada! Great drive.

And I am so happy that you show it us again, thank you 🙏🙏🙏
It's bigger than I thought but not as big as nyc
I would love to see GPS linked to your camera so we could see the names of the roads you travel on ? 🤔🤔👍👍
He traveled on one street for 99% of the video called Yonge Street from the top of the city to near the kz
It seems most street lights are not working in Toronto
💙
It will be a nice city... when they finish it.

What kind of 4k HDR camera are you using to get such great shots? Dash cam, GoPro?

I live here in Toronto!
After reviewing all my universities entry examinations it is concluded that I passed all 3 universities exams where I participated in 1994. Finished. Anyway it was a 30 year event, now I am the CEO of the Hedge Fund, let's close that event. We are flying to Toronto by this Thursday. Thanks.
what camera are you using?
I love living in Toronto, so much freedom and exposure to interesting people and cultures from literally anywhere on earth. So much freedom to be myself as people are too busy living their lives to waste time judging how I live mine. This is where I have chosen to make my stand and perform my lifes work. Greatful to be here every single day despite its shortcomings.
You started in North York and ended at Union Station
yeah he started right where Toronto officially begins at Steeles, but turned onto Front at the end for a nice view of the CN tower instead of going a few more blocks Yonge to Queens Quay to the very end.
Amazing they don't synchronize their traffic lights like Miami and L.A. have done since the 1970's.
Thank you! It honestly seems like they've designed them to make sure people have to stop at every intersection no matter if you're in a car or on a bike. And it's especially odd for a city that adopted an anti-idling bylaw because now we are literally idling at every, single intersection.
this is good, it makes traffic slower and therefore a lot safer.
The US has double the traffic deaths per capita to Canada.
@@TheTroyc1982 but half the number of deaths due to carbon monoxide and other pollutants from idling cars. Also half the greenhouse gases per capita.
I'm Canadian, and Toronto confuses me. King Street West, with its $billion real estate, still has overhead electrical wires and streetlights from the 60s.
@@sm3675 If it ain't broke don't fix it

lol Toronto has more impressive car centric infrastructure than in America. A center turn lane in a dense skyscraper district is crazy
What Toronto is, If it isn't America?
Toronto has a dozen dense skyscraper districts is why, some of these districts ar ein the suburbs so have wide roads
Toronto needs those center turn lanes because there’s always some BS roadwork happening that causes one, two, or three lanes to be closed at any given point in time. In large US cities like Chicago, car traffic flows much more smoothly, or you just don’t drive a car like in New York, where you can actually get to places on one subway ride instead of transferring from bus to subway to bus again and then streetcar.
@@atlantis3244Toronto isn’t in America, it’s in Canada. America and North America aren’t the same thing. This is something Latin Americans often get confused with.
That was only on the outskirts. Most of it doesn't have that. And are you're going to compare countries, he hit every red light while in NYC, Miami or L.A., you can drive continuous greens if you maintain the speed limit.

Toronto. The place of perpetual road construction, unbearable traffic congestion, and housing that will cost you your liver, kidney, and firstborn.
don't forget gas that will cost you your arm and leg!
@@BluJayMix oh yes, great point! And you can’t really live car-free, unless you’re content to make multiple transfers from bus to subway to streetcar. It’s just inconvenient
@@VampyricNinjaXDLOL it's easy to live car free in Toronto, Most Torontonians don't own a car
@@TheTroyc1982😂😂😂😂 probably that’s why gridlock in Toronto is 24/7.
@@mikevideo79 Most torontonians don't own a car and use public transit. now imagine what would happen without public transit
Welcome to my hometown... unfourntley Toronto Canada is not the same place it used to be.. would touch Toronto with a 10 ft pole
it's better than it's ever been in my opinion, but what do i know, I have just lived here since 1989.
Ever year we get better bike infrastructure and expansion of the public realm and with denser development.
@@TheTroyc1982 you live under a rock buddy or yo watch CP24 . Toronto infrastructure is so bad i live downtown and just to get to another side of the city can take you an hour. The Bike infastructure made the roads worst and bikes still dont respect the roads lmao.
As a cyclist and motorist, I despise the bike lanes. But the city, as always implemented them in the worst possible way. Plus putting them on the busiest streets was a mistake but the powers that be insisted.@@carspottereast
@@Genious. LOOL people like @thetroyc1982 voted for this. and voted trudeu.
@@carspottereast So you say you wouldn't touch Toronto with a 10 ft pole in one post and that you live in downtown toronto in another post????? which is it.
Anyway bike infrastructure increases the capacity of the street actually and allow more people to move through the city more efficiently. In this video once he hit bloor the bikes out number cars and move through the city much fast than the cars.
I was in Toronto in July, it's a real good city and most people there is nice, too bad there's too many drug addicts and homeless in downtown
Sounds like someone took a stroll around Allen Gardens. Or Moss Park. Or Sherbourne Avenue. Or Yonge Dundas Square. We have more homeless encampments than we di Chinatowns.
Same In Vancouver. beautiful city but a massive homeless issue
@@Genious.Come to Chinatown Vancouver to see the real homeless
