  • Morning drive around the downtown area of Toronto, the fastest growing city in North America! Video starts on Toronto's main street (Yonge Street), continues through the entertainment and waterfront districts, and passed through Toronto's Times Square (Yonge-Dundas Square). Enjoy!
    Toronto is an international centre of business, finance, arts, and culture, and is recognized as one of the most multicultural and cosmopolitan cities in the world. Toronto is the most populous city in Canada, with a population of 2.7 million, with a metropolitan population of 5.9 million, making it Canada's most populous metro area.
    The city is home to the Toronto Stock Exchange, the headquarters of Canada's five largest banks, and the headquarters of many large Canadian and multinational corporations. Its economy is highly diversified with strengths in technology, design, financial services, life sciences, education, arts, fashion, business services, environmental innovation, food services, and tourism.
    Toronto is a prominent centre for music, theatre, motion picture production, and television production, and is home to the headquarters of Canada's major national broadcast networks and media outlets. Its varied cultural institutions, which include numerous museums and galleries, festivals and public events, entertainment districts, national historic sites, and sports activities, attract over 25 million tourists each year. Toronto is known for its many skyscrapers and high-rise buildings, in particular the tallest free-standing structure in the Western Hemisphere, the CN Tower.

      saybanana - Thanks for commenting! I think you're right about the copyright/trademark part. Let me know if you have any other ideas. It took about 10 minutes to put this all together on teespring (its integrated with UA-cam) so it can be changed easily.

    • @jutah

      Miganarchine - Other than it randomly being the icon I chose for the channel years ago, it doesn't related much. I cropped out part of the image so it is the shape of an airplane window, so it's more travel related. All this took about 10 minutes as the site is integrated with UA-cam. Any other thoughts? Let me know!

    Toronto is a diverse and cosmopolitan city. It is such a wonderful place to be, although it seems to be a quiet and peaceful city. Without much media news coverage, I must say that, despite its tranquillity, Canada is a country that has a good infrastructure and land where it is very exciting to go and see other places within Toronto. About 12 years ago, I got the opportunity to go Canada. However, I missed the chance to go to Niagara falls and Toronto as a city itself. If I were to go back to Canada again, I will definitely go and see the city. But the only thing is that I would not want to live there as, being a beautiful country as it is, the travelling to get to other places must be one hell of a ride and not local like living in the United Kingdom. To cut the story short, Canada, I ❤ U!

It's a dynamic metropolis with a core of soaring skyscrapers, all dwarfed by the iconic, free-standing CN Tower. People, I live in toronto and let me tell you, it isnt that special.. it's like New York but with less traffic and less shopping areas and more spacious. And I mean, taxes are high here (including buying a home & paying for property tax) and we started getting more shootings and violence, please. Think twice before thinking to move here.
    Edit: forgot to mention, but the climate is also bad, in summer it's so hot, and humid. But in winter it's super cold and the snow...

      The rise of the US Sunbelt has made the good old-fashioned 4-season climate suddenly look atrocious.

      People moving to Toronto are not trying to move to Jane/finch or Scarborough. They want to live more in the city like midtown and so on. Example people moving to Chicago are not gonna move to Southside Chicago they are gonna live in the city where shooting are not happening.

    Do you think you could ever do Columbus, Ohio? That’s a city you haven’t done that I would love to see you do. If not, thanks anyway! Love all your videos!

    Yonge and Bloor (Yorkville ) alone has a bigger skyline than most American cities.
    { Note: I said MOST}
