This is what I need to hear 🙏😇. I take care of my mum, 80, this year being diagnosed with ovarian cancer stage 3. I wanted to be in control of her recovery. I feel I need to step back, accept my boundaries and take good care of myself. No need to be mum’s hero anymore. Just trying to be present and enjoy quality time with her 🌻🙏

Beautiful talk, beautiful women…in most parts of our world we are actually caretakers of ill family, mothers, providers, coping with our own illness AT THE SAME time - it’s not like we can choose one learning challenge 😅 still beautiful perks of wisdom here! Just from an American perspective I guess. Still - thank you 🙏🏾
Women just don’t have good support systems, generally. Otherwise, this wouldn’t be a discussion. There shouldn’t be any guilt when support is there and everyone is doing their part.
A natural-born literary genius? I never knew that. 2003 were very first attempts at the advanced age of 35. It's always the last thing you wanted or expected in life that you fall into accidentally?
