I have a budget sling pack that works great to hold all my gear on longer day trips, but I want a second minimal kit. When I’m out fishing a small stream for brookies here in NB Canada I really only need the essentials. I think the Allen chest pack fits my needs really well. Might have to pick one up
@@TwigNTimberFishingOutdoors since this comment I bought one and got to use it a handful of times. Really love it, especially for the price! Thanks for turning me onto this pack, it’s definitely a great deal!
@@TwigNTimberFishingOutdoors I live in Bend Oregon. I'm originally from North Eastern California. I can't wait to receive and read your books. I've been fishing since I could grip a rod, fly fishing since I was 7 or 8. I was tying flies before I started fly fishing.
How’s that chest vest holding up. I see Allen also makes a day pack that that vest can snap into. Let me know thinking about pulling the trigger if vest is legit for a few boxes and a flask.
I would love to see your channel grow to a point where it is profitable for you. As a noob fly fisher the tips you gave today are great. I was thinking of ways to maybe boost your subs without being too much of an ass. I think you can produce much better visually appealing videos within your means. I think you could increase more Subs if you created a nice custom back drop for these style videos. I found the over the shoulder video today out of focus at times and the background with the dirty desk distracting. I think it would have been more effective to have the camera in front looking directly at you and your product with a clean organized photo shoot space. Sorry i know I'm just a keyboard warrior but I do want to see you hit 1 Mil Subs one day. Tight lines!
I completely agree with you 100% that things should be tighter and tidier. I have to balance a full time job and family, as well as the writing I do for other companies to keep this channel afloat. Tough gig, but when I have more space, you can bet a studio will be in the works!
The reason for rubber netting is because nylon netting can harm a fishes slimy protective coating which protects it from diseases and bacteria so i hope everyone uses rubber nets

This guy has his priorities straight. He’s got his fly tying station and N64 on the same table!

Ordered your books. I would love to see a book of fly patterns you tie and fish.
Thank you so much! Loads of videos on my channel that cover some of that information! Please consider subscribing. Where are you from?

@@jamesmccreery250 jealous of your home waters! Excellent!
I just got my books! I'm excited to read them. I think we have many of the same values as outdoorsman and interesting differences as well!
@@jamesmccreery250 thabk you so much! I truly hope you enjoy them
Digging the N64 on the tying table. Goldeneye and Mario Kart couldn't be beat.
Hands down,
Allen makes great stuff. Loving my $50 waders.
100%!
STARFOX!!!! that game was my freaking jam
Haha!
Goldeneye 007 ;)
Vigilante 8 2nd offense was mine

My micro one is solid for its age. One small hole. My day pack looks brand new
What? the first thing you pull out of your fishing bag is a karambit? I’m confused by your choice
Just a small compact knife that was free. I like it to be near me for quick access with strange characters passing me with my expensive camera gear
Many less-than-favorable characters to contend with on the water.
@@TwigNTimberFishingOutdoors I'd pack more for protection if you fish the Chadakoin.
A karmabit is super deadly if you know how to use it
I really want that knife.
Cheap online I think!
@@TwigNTimberFishingOutdoors I have been searching but have not found it yet. Thanks for the Reply =).

why does it have to be a rubber net?
Best for the fish if you plan to release it.
also wont snag your hooks as easily
knotless nets are just as good for catch and release

I enjoy how informative your videos are

Also easier to remove hooks!
