Just bought a brand new one for $175 on Amazon after I bungled my Xperia5 battery replacement and pierced the screen :( Either way, I bought a new one so the battery should be great, I will install the before launcher and go as minimal as possible with my phone usage. My daily usage will come from Telegram, Tidal, E-Mail and messaging so it should work well for a couple of years. I do hate that it's not water resistant as I dropped my Xperia in a bathtub once and it was saved. It's also very compact. I wish it was a tad skinnier but it's probably the most compact and/or skinniest after the iphone mini.
Just changed it for a Nothing Phone 2a, the battery was absolutely dead, by far the worst part of this phone but I used it for 2.5 years so it lasted for a fair bit. Not gonna complain, this was a good purchase but this is way behind the power curve, it's absolutely outdated and the updates are gone for a long time now, just buy another recent model even if it means a Poco, Xiaomi or cheaper brands this would still be a better deal than a 3-4 yo android phone, don't buy it refurbished too, the battery will be dead.
@@rjoshi2284 Yeah that's an amazing phone, with a new battery you're ready to go but I'm ngl when I changed to a new phone it's insane how much faster everything is, the hardware and software are outdated which is absolutely normal for an older model. I think that the biggest value to have a Pixel 4a in 2024 would be the unique size of it, photographs and the jack connection, 2 years and a half, I was very happy with this phone.
@@shonildabreo5228 Yeah mine started lagging, that's certainly because of the lack of updates, apps run less and less smoothly as new updates come in, that's a normal process for any older phones, if you don't compare with newer phones you wouldn't even notice. My battery was fine in the beginning too but with more usage the battery runtime is decreasing rapidly 🤷♂️
Best A phone from pixel with a perfect size , still a beast.
Still have it. Almost 4 years old and still going strong except in the battery department 😅
The generation of pixel from 6 way back to one is what I would argue the camera first and performance last

I am using pixel 4a i changed battery its working really nice and smooth
On my 4a 5g, the battery still works great. The phone overall still works great. Just some minor lags and performance issues.
