I currently main the Razer Blackshark v2 pro, and they're the best gaming headset I've owned so far, the comfort is unmatched, the sound is superb (bass, mids, and highs do not mix up) the directional audio is ON POINT, they are actually so cool for listening to music as well. Everything you've said about the Blackshark is 100% accurate to what I am experiencing with these cans.

If you're looking for an ultra budget option I recommend the Logitech G435. They're great sounding headsets and the mic isn't too bad. You can find them for $40-$50 WITHOUT a sale. Battery life is great, they're lightweight and very comfortable for long gaming sessions.
I grabbed the G435 for $30 off Amazon but I just ordered the Razer Blackshark for close to $50 to see the performance differences. Also want to use the audio equalizer to help with games with bad audio *cough* WZ2 *cough*

I watch a lot of headset reviews which make me want alll the new headsets. This video is one of the few that made me appreciate what I have (blackshark) it’s simple and there is no distortion or muddiness throughout the frequency range.
I have the HS65 wireless which I got just this Christmas and they already broke, I have to keep it wired forever because the second I take the wire off they just don't turn on, sometimes they don't even turn on with the wire for a bit. The microphone mute and unmute button also does nothing now. (The mic itself works but I can't mute it without taking it off or muting in the software)
The EPOS H6 Pros are frequently dropping to around £120, I don't know if that's the case in the US but at that price they are an absolute must if you don't mind wired
really bad build quality IMO. I had two over the course of 3 months just stop working (luckily the support replaced it). After the second time they just stopped working i just gave up. AVOID!
In terms of comfort the epos are trash. Their clamping force is the textbook senheiser which squizes your skull. All these gaming headsets have more or less the same sound. It's the comfort and the features that sets apart one from another. If you want sound quality then pick normal headphones.

Coolermaster mm751/752. Nothing beats them in comfort (they sound good too). I have tried all these garbage of headsets that they say are comfortable on UA-cam 😂. None of these comes even close to mm751. Thank me later
I’ve tried several headsets. Razer black shark v2 pro, hyper X cloud flight S, Logitech g533, Steelseries Arctis 1, hyperX cloud alpha, and some others on display at Best Buy. The only solution I know is to buy really thick third party cushions or wedge something between the cushion and the driver cover to help create more depth.
@@UwU777UwU from my personal experience, they are terrible. their charging ports are extremely brittle and easily break leading to repeated beeps while charging. as long as you regularly charge once you go to bed you will avoid this issue tho.

if this pertains to you... the mic on the wireless version at least on ps5 barely picks up my voice or picks up a word then cuts out . do no recommend on console. I turned up the mic sensitivity all the way as well. no luck. now if you do not plan on using the mic its pretty good

Yeah. Corsair it it. I had the Steelseries and the quality feels good at first but after 6-8 months it was not good quality and mind you it was not even every day use. I took them back to the shop and they blamed me! Oh no. Never ever Steelsseries again.

I use a Sennheiser HD599, light, amazing sound, decent sound stage, perfect for single player immersive games. They are open back.

I would add cloud core wireless. Those are less than 100 with solid build and decent souns quality. Only downside is the earpads are kinda bad
