The next two episodes are some of my favorites in all of Avatar

Makos hypocrisy is on full display this episode considering he was so mad at bolin when he tried getting money while helping the Triple Threats. And here he is enlisting a gangs help to transport merchandise out of the city but he couldn’t keep quiet about Korra going to talk to Iroh II🤔🤔.
Yeah, wouldn't help Korra but would gladly help Asami
They’re all trash. Only the side characters are tolerable (Bolin, Asami, Iroh etc.)
i never noticed this plothole actually lol, considering what he did for Asami then yea you would think he would've kept quiet for Korra. On the other hand though the Korra and Iroh thing was probably a bigger deal, like literally international affairs big deal so he probably felt more pressured to be honest. Either way that part always bothered me because I felt it was out of character for him to snitch. I feel like the writers just needed a reason to break them up ig idk
@Alex-ld6zc I agree with what u said, but I don't think u know what a plothole is, a plothole is something in the story that happens but makes no logical sense, or when a certain rule that was mentioned in a show is broken, like for example, only the avatar can bend more then 1 element, if a character that bends 2 elements appears, and there is no explanation till the series ends, that is a clear cut plothole
did you guys know they switched animation studios for the first half of this season? thankfully, we get the original studio back after this episode. i just can't get over how the characters' faces look in the first six episodes of this season lmao!

Asami’s VA is Yue from the horrible live action movie we don’t talk about 😂
The only good thing to come out of that movie 😭
The first half of this season is definitely kinda slow. But oh man, buckle up for the second half folks.
The Sting is what I feel when I see this love triangle.

Mako not helping Korra last episode but choosing to help Asami here was completely hypocritical of him. He told Korra that he was doing his job in not lying to President Raiko as well as making sure she wasn’t doing anything stupid, but then he goes and performs an unauthorized sting operation, with criminals of all people, behind Lin's back and against her orders? Yeah, okay. Korra went around the system out of frustration to try and save the South and her family and Mako's basically doing the same here. He wasn't willing to go outside the law to help Korra but was willing to so with his problem.
What also irked me was how they basically tried to make Mako the only one that's sensible while making everyone else like Lin and Asami look stupid by them not believing him. Everyone took stupid pills except for Mako for some reason.
They did Lin and Asami so dirty in this ep!! Lin is a detective and Asami is one of the smartest people in the series (Lin even says that in the future). They would have believed Mako for sure! Lin employed him after knowing about his criminal past, and Asami knows him too well by now. There's no way they wouldn't believe he was being framed by Varrick🤡🤡🤡
@@_anne7956Did the both of them soo dirty! All I can think of is they did this to prop Mako up more as well as "plot". Just wish they didn't make the characters take stupid pills though 😭

For sure the second part of the season is something else, that part alone is pretty interesting and important on the series overall so definitely waiting for your reaction to that you girls are definitely my fave reaction channel rn💗

The next two episodes are my favorite episodes of all of ATLA and LOK.

I actually blame the writers on this ep it's like they were actively trying to make you not like mako character at all cuz I don't possibly understand who's idea it was to make oh I just broke up with the my gf not more than 24 hours ago and here I am trying to make out with my ex it's soo bad lol between these 2 season I feel like enough damage was done to mako character than by S3-4 no one really cared for the guy as a character anymore
Mako does best when he's far away from the love triangle and romance stuff honestly. Had had some nice moments here and there S3-S4 but yeah, a lot of damage was done to his character between these 2 seasons 😅
no i feel like his character becomes a lot more likeable after he ends things with both of them. but yea i agree the first two seasons did him dirty w the fuckboy stuff lmao.

ep 6 is my least favorite in the whole show (probably bc too much Mako haha and no Korra) and the only reason I wouldn't skip it is..well, Bolin's hilarious personnality oc but also like I can't get enough of Asami's beautiful green eyes and smooth af voice😭🥰 I would say 'gay for Asami' but i'm just too gay period hahaha but fr our Asami needs more screentime🥺
If you too fall in love w her by the end of this btw I'd even more recommend to read the LoK comics (they start off from right after the end of the show, literally
