  • Today I made some DIY modifications to my ice fishing hut. These alterations allow me to be more efficient and better equipped on the water. I took my hut out to test the updates and found an unexpected PB!

Thanks a ton for the holler!!! It was good visiting with you, but I think we were both too busy trying to find fish most of the day... it was great to be out instead of sitting at home!!! Thanks again!!!

Yes I'll watch the DIY stuff. And I'll watch the ice stuff - even though the only ice near me is downstairs in the kitchen

Appreciating the change up. Hard for us southerners to get into the ice fishing. Just looks cold to me. Keep it up, buddy.

I love the DIY stuff! Keep it coming. I'm a DIY guy myself, so it helps to see what works and what doesn't. Even if I'm nowhere near ice fishing country. Lol.

Rode my mountain bike on some trails by the river to hit up some spots Saturday. It was 80*. 😎☀️
Mountain bikes are great to fish off of if you only need one or two rods. Got my motorcycle setup with a kayak milk crate also. Don't have an ice fishing sled, though.

Ah, you’ve got the new Epic Bait creations!! Sweet!! Nick and Nate are pretty cool dudes. Good for you for working with them!
Always appreciate the DIY stuff. Even when it’s a project that I’ll never do, there’s always some principle or technique that can be copied or used as an inspiration for another new idea. Looking forward to the catch and cook. Hoping to focus on improving bass techniques and getting on the panfish, which can be more plentiful than bass in the ponds in our area during 2022. Cooking dinner for me and my wife after catching some decent panfish would be a high point for the year! And as always, thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Yes the DIY is always fun to watch. It may give others ideas. By the way, did you use the minnow bucket and rod holder? When you were attaching the rod holder I wondered if you were thinking of room needed not only for the holder, but for a rod and reel when inserted. I hope it fits in the space..
