    *Thanks for watching! What part of the 1 man shack setup did you like the best or what do you think I should adjust for even better efficiency while out on the ice?*

    I had a Hideout but just didn’t like it as much as my Cottage so I sold it and my Cottage and got a new Cottage Xover and it’s awesome. It weighs slightly more than the Hideout but love the extra room. And I can fish another person if needed.

    Very awesome sir! Can I ask how tall you are for head room purposes and can you fish a 40" stock in that puppy???!

      I'm 5' 11" and yes, no problem with a 40" rod!

    Nice shack. Do you wanna sell that PS22? Or are you still going to use it?

    • @AlexTimm
      @AlexTimm  3 роки тому +1

      Actually, I sold it a few weeks ago. I was planning on using it with the Livescope this ice season but decided not to in order to cut a little weight and complexity from the setup. Especially since most people are more interested in the LiveScope footage and tips

    Did you need a step down to power lights off of an 18v battery?

    • @AlexTimm
      @AlexTimm  2 роки тому

      I did not since these lights all have a dial adjustment for them, so I just don't turn it all the way up and it cuts the voltage to them

    Sweet setup man! That’s a shit ton of gear to be hauling out of the hideout. Does it all fit in there or are you running a separate sled for gear as well?

    • @AlexTimm
      @AlexTimm  3 роки тому

      I have it all fitting in there! Check out my first ice video from this year I have a few shots with all of it piled up. 👍

      Nice! I've looked at the Cottage and am debating picking one up next year. I also have the Lodge for my 2-man that I can have a buddy join or I primarily use it mid-season as my portable unit. Have you ever had a bigger or smaller size before the Cabin that made you want to go to that one?

  • @reelinrichie
    @reelinrichie 3 роки тому +1

    Nice set up bro seems like you could’ve used a two man otter with all the gear….👍

      @AlexTimm  3 роки тому

      Thanks, so true! Later this season I'll do a video of my Otter Lodge that I use once I don't worry about ice thickness or having to potentially pull by hand. I still run out of space! Haha!

    I have one and I hate it. It's heavy but too small at the same time, can't fiteverything in sled, just uncomfortable

    • @AlexTimm
      @AlexTimm  3 роки тому +1

      Dang, stinks to hear that. I like mine and I look at it as a challenge to bring less stuff ha. What are you looking to move into? I've debated looking at the XT Pro X-Over Cottage as a little bigger one to use as a 1-man, but really like the fixed length poles that the Hideout has
