@Player 1905 they tried to do a real fantasy story like in FF9. Knights, Princesses, etc. But half of the characters are meaningless. Vaan is no more important to the plot after he forgives Basch. Fran is just Balthier's sidekick that helps you go through 1 jungle and that is it. Penelo... Idk wtf is she doing in the party. She's like Kairi in Kingdom Hearts

XV's an amazing game but the version of Gilgamesh in the Gladiolus DLC is ridiculously off brand. He's too serious, he's honorable, and he looks like an absolute badass instead of a six armed court jester who totes around legendary weapon knockoffs
God I miss playing FF XII
The Gilgamesh fight was my all time favorite boss fight and Hunt in game. If I ever play the game again, I'd start on the hardest difficulty I can and fight Gilgamesh. I was fan boying when I saw the Buster Sword, Lionheart (that's the name of Leon's starting gunblade right?) And Brotherhood, because I played KH first, and FF XII was my first FF game.

Lionheart is Squall's final gunblade, not the starting one. Its blade glows blue and it has wings coming off the grip. The starting one's called Revolver, and Greg here has a replica of it.

Man do I regret not stealing from first fight Gilgamesh. At the time I had Heard that you got the Genji armor from Gilgamesh but I just assumed you would get them as a reward for beating him. Stupidly enough I didnt look up any info untill after I had cleared the first fight and saved. (Havent beaten the second fight yet so atleast Il be able to get some of the parts.)

Dustia still works and you can still do the auto level trick in the later game...the set up for auto leveling can be a bit more tricky then in the normal version.

The greatest swordsman the FF multiverse has ever seen - and the best part is, he's actually already strong enough with his natural abilities and experience, but he always thinks he needs to obtain some ultimate weapons to achieve such a status. I just love Gilgamesh’s Dialogues, how he’d traveled to different dimensions and steal fake replicas of every sword from the Final Fantasy series & his appearance on this game. So epic & just did an art portrait of Gilgamesh from this game the other day & the Final Fantasy Dissida version about 3 months ago.
When he can travel through dimensions, why has he only the counterfit swords and not the originals?

I LOVED these fights! Felt so good to have my characters strong enough to hold their own. This is the best battle music in the game and among the best out of any FF.
This is also the best version of Gilgamesh out of any game.
So it's just Gilgamesh as he is literally the same character as FFV and FFVIII. Gilgamesh is one of the few characters who travels dimensions in the Final Fantasy series, the others being Shinryu and Omega.

I never played this game but how did Gilga obtain zacks/clouds buster sword, Squals gunblade and Tidus' sword? Oh yeah Gilgamesh needs a game of his own
Gilgamesh travels through time and space between all the different Final Fantasy worlds, searching for the strongest sword in all of existence. He likely came across these weapons some time after those characters' adventures, seeing how a lot of the weapons look pretty worn.

G3rq Probably didn't play FF14, he's part of a joke sidequest. The main character of the side quest is kind of an idiot and thinks Gilgamesh is called Greg. He also calls Vivi "Gigi".

Did you aware that someone can beat Yiazmat by just 26 hours since start of the game? That's from original PS2 version that got 9999 damage cap... People learned so much ways to break this game and Zodiac Age add more features to broke it more...

I loved this game, the story was good, Battle interface was ok (no loading screens was fucking legit), but I also hated how unbalanced battle was. It gave you hundreds of abilities but they were almost never worth using. Try to use it in a boss fight, the enemy was immune 99.99999999999999% of the time; try to use them grinding out levels you run out of MP. Espers were wicked difficult to kill, but when you summon them they were usually killed in a few hits. So unless it was one of the few mobs where there was some gimmick, the only option was to just do boring melee attacks like a shit-chucking ape.

There is something annoying me a lot about the majority of ppl playing FFXII which is that they aren't using their gambits to its full potential
Some prefer to have absolute control. Also, Gambits are notoriously slow to react to sudden shifts in a fight.
@@nebula8851 I know I'm 3 years late but the majority of people don't realise that they can set the battle speed to fast in the options. This makes yours and enemy gambits come out much faster and makes fights faster paced.
gilgamesh is not that powerful but still the best boss in the game :)

Even with one arm the Final Fantasy 15 Gilgamesh was a tough fight which is true to Gilgamesh's spirit

Fun Fact... it took me a while to find out that all his precious swords from the FF universe are bad replicas :D back than i thought he really beat all the main characters and took their weapons which really impressed me it was easily one of the greatest easter eggs in any game i didn´t notice the differences except for the buster sword but since i can´t read japanese i didn´t know it clearly said "fake" XD this is by far my favorite incarnation of Gilgamesh he is so funny but still very challenging in his last fight + the scene after the fight was so damn hilarious i still always have to laugh XD it would be great to see Gilgamesh as a secret boss in the KH franchise but i hope they go with this version and not the new one from FF15... that gilgamesh was just dissapointing :-(
