Omg I remember this program un the summers growing up as a child we would spend our summers at our grandparents in Ky they lived on a farm in the middle of nowhere, and not only didn’t have a tv they didn’t even have running water or a in door bathroom there was a well in the front yard and a out house across the street anyways they were also very religious and normally wouldn’t let us listen to or play horror stories. So one night when we were in bed and our room was separated only by a partial wall so i could hear the radio perfectly it was a story about a killer hand i remember at the ending it said look around your room in the curtains, the corner and so on and went on to say look for the hand! he left it on for , thinking i would enjoy , however i was terrified and just keep wishing / thinking turn it off , turn it off ! Lol
Greetings from Virgie, KY (beside Pikeville a more well-known town)!! We're kinda set in our ways here, especially the deeper into Appalachiayou go like where I live!! Even me at 35, I've got different ways than most ocf the country, more traditional I assume. But there are some damn fine people here, the best anywhere as me!! Just like I'm sure your grandparents were!! We're not as behind the times as they were then!! Still not as updated as a lot of places either, but I wouldn't trade this place & these people for nowhere else on earth!! I sit and listen to these & a lot of 40's & 50's radio programs & image myself back in that time listening on a grand radio, especiallyat night like now at 12:52 on Tuesday morning February 7, 2023!! I'd loved to have seen it back then!! I'd loved to have seen your grandparents homeplace!! Godspeed my friend!! It was a pleasure reading your post!!
@@karmaray753Sounds great, Karma Ray! CBSRMT reminds me a lot of radi's 📻 Golden Age in the 1930s/40s. My Dad, and his family used to talk about the '38 Orson Welles "War of the Worlds" broadcast. All classic drama! Wish that I still had that last radio of Grandma's.
That's outstanding... remembering that as if it was yesterday. Wish my little ones could experience some of those times. They enjoy these with me but it's not quite the same
originally broadcast on my 8th birthday 😁 I wish we had this quality of radio today.
Great to hear such well written program and really good actors.
Chilling.
Thank you, David. ❤
My twin brother and I listened to this program one night after watching the original Frankenstein movie, man we didn’t sleep for a week!
A dandy house of horrors......great turn of phrase forebodes a great many horrific mishaps in this story. Really fun story
Goodnight from Derby, England x

Love EG Marshal!
Excellent 👍🏼
Bravo I enjoyed this story
Current speculation is, Mary Shelley's husband wrote Frankenstein and gave it her for her amusement. I can see it happening.
😍🥰
