BIG MISTAKE FROM THE WRITER! PETER PAN WAS CREATED IN THE FIRST DECADE OF THE 20TH CENTURY BY J. M. BARRIE. The statue mentioned in Kensington Gardens was erected in 1912. Sixty years after Dickens wrote this story.
