I live close to where an old man living in van. He hated loud music. Now, weeks later, anyone who passes by whilst playing loud music ....their speakers malfunction. Weird.
@Steve, Yes, 34 degrees now here. Temperature gauge outside my house. But I live in the country (6 miles outside the city limits west of Auburn Road) with a 1 acre farm pond right near my house which makes it colder out here. In town temperature is 43 degrees right now in Topeka.
@Don, I see. I have similar situation, we live in a frost bowl 5 miles south of Smith Center. You were just a little colder over there in eastern KS. It got close to freezing here in the night last night.
Hey everyone! I, too, remember hiding underneath the desks. However, i think it was for tornadoes. Either way, it's scary to think of it as a kid. Dang, what a wallet 😂. I did like this episode. 💛 Catherine from Tucson AZ 4.20.24
Cute story, but the world has already ended. We are just running on fumes. The bombs will be only a formality as people have already stopped living as human beings, with caring and decency long ago
04-19-24 Listening from Southern Ontario, Canada, 43* N. A very good evening to everyone. Hope all are well and wishing pleasant dreams tonight and always! I like Ralph Bell! I grew up having to do “bomb survival” practices in school - as if crunching down under a wood desk, with a book held tightly over our heads, would save us, and followed by prayer, of course. But, it somehow seemed to make us feel better, believing that it just might. No matter how small, hope is always there. What did we young children know ? 🙏❤🫠

I am going to give a shout tomorrow to Catherine. She said she has one more long shift and then needed to catch up on some zzzzzz’s. She also mentioned you. ❤️

WOW! Another good story with Evie Juster. Evie often voiced old ladies, middle-aged wives, young girls and alien creatures.

This story reminded me of an episode of The Twilight Zone.
Oh gosh you're right. That was a frightening yet good episode
Atomic energy/ weapons r truly scary....even evil.

When was the human monster ever "decent"? "Creator" should have stopped @ plants & animals.
