After living in our new town/province for a couple years, I joined the Newcomers club and the Seniors Centre and met some wonderful people that way as it is harder when you are over 50 to meet people.
My new thrifting friend, also made a few major location and life moves over the past couple years due to retirement andgrand babies and appreciate your sharing your vulnerability

Not without work - five spots to land in a year is more than I can even contemplate, so I am beyond impressed with what you've done - with the help of all your family, I'm sure. Our daughter lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and was shocked by the "Midwest nice" attitude there, so different than here in Philadelphia where she grew up, although of course there are good people everywhere, but there are cultural variations that develop over time and depending on the values of the people living in a place as well. Anyway, congratulations on all your followers - we appreciate you!!!
Being just an hour and a half from Ann Arbor, I can attest to the “Mid Western niceness” most of our state is beautiful and full of nice people. It’s cool to take the leap and try something new!
