  • Brilliant, swingy two step composed by Bert Shorthouse for One of the many fabulous characters on Scottish radio of the past. He's a Scottish music programme on Radio Clyde ? Could only get that up here in the winter in those days when we just had AM transistor radios. Anyways it was great crack and he always had this jingle BEWARE OF THE TARTAN TERROR !
Own up folks who's old enough to remember him ?
Last time I played this was at our 30th wedding anniversary party and I was Backed by Iain MacPhail & Brian Griffin. I was in accordion heaven and it took Kay a week to scrape me off the ceiling I was so high 😂😂. No tweaks, straight off the iphone.

Gerry was the 'Tartan Terror', (as opposed to terrorist), he later had a programme on BBC Radio Scotland which ran for some years. He used to play my father's songs on his show. My father appeared by phone on the show, and I still have the interview.. He used to give a wee shoogle of his 'Tartan tablets'.. (don't ask..). I often wonder what happened to him? Nice playing! .
