I've owed the snugpak for about 6 years. About fifteen other guys own it in my unit. Absolutely the best blanket I've ever owned. Keeps wind out. It's warm in all kinds of temperature. Never had any problems with the insulation. Also my wife said, it's the best blanket I ever brought. She also wishes it had different colors. It also keeps you cool in hotter weather by flipping it over using the outside as the inside which she loves. My kids fight over it. I never knew when I got this to use in the army my family would fight over it, so funny to me.

May i ask down to what lowest temperature have you slept comfortably with it ?. And what do you sleep in - ? Synthetic or merino ? Extra mid or outer layers needed?

According to Snugpac the travel blanket and jungle blanket are the same except for color options.

Great video! Would you consider the double puffy to be alright as a backpacking blanket for a dog or is the material too fragile?

Hmmm…I think it would work, but I would be a bit hesitant especially if your dog has sharp nails.
