Is it recoommends to spray paint the bottom of the shoes? Will the paint be easy to go off or become sticky?

how long did the midsoles and outsoles last after painting these? i plan on doing the same but im scared the soles will not last. should i only paint the midsoles or are they the same endurance?
not long, recommend not painting the soles. This was when i first started . if you do paint the soles, use a sole protector or make one
I painted a pair of air forces with some acrylic paint what should I use to seal them after I’m done?
Just seing this message, you can use an acrylic sealer (Angelus sells it, thats what i used- Matte finisher )
did you seal the sock liner with the finisher too? or just leave as is after painting and activating with heat?
Didnt have to seal it, after its heat activated the color wont bleed or rub off on your socks etc.
***(Also with this being one of my first set of customs when i first started, if you are replicating it, use a sole protector to prevent the paint from scratching off at the bottom)

Is the petal pink color more on the peachy side or more of a mauve?
peachy, I got that color by adding alittle white to the original pink color
What brush did you use and how did you not get brush strokes
I used an angelus paint brush (it came in a kit that they sell). I used light layers of paint and multiple coats(5-6). After about the 2nd or 3rd coat any light brush stokes disappears 👌🏽
I want to purchase a heat gun but not sure what kind i should buy
Most of them are the same tbh. Can find a reasonably cheap one on Amazon or Ebay. Shouldn't cost more than 20$
Does the paint hold to the rubber sole?
it doesnt unless you use a sole protector. I tend to make my own these days. Ill make a video showing the process of making them
What did you mix to paint the rubber soles?
didnt really mix anything, just painted them but you will need to use a sole protector to prevent from peeling. I make my own sole protectors, I will make a video showing the process
Could I use a blow dryer as a heat gun 😭😭
A hair dryer will work , just not as good as a heat gun.

Can i paint my liner from navy blue to white?Will the white have a little bit blue?
I've never tried it but going from a darker color to a lighter color on the liner/mesh/laces tend not to work out too well
I wouldn't but u can ..use like 10 coats

I learned that the hard way 😅🙆🏽♂️ i dont paint the soles anymore or i use my DIY sole protectors if i paint the sides of the rubber sole
The paint dont scratch
It do scratch on the bottom if you dont use a sole protector. Dont always recommend painting the bottom of your does ( this was one of my first custom shoes)

they do peel without protection but its preference in my opinion, you can use a sole protector ( i tend to make my own, and it lasts really long) As long as you don't wear them daily. I've tested some sole protectors ive made and it lasted about 2+ months wearing a few times a week
Be careful painting the rubber sole .it peels off easily
I found out the hard way but ive found ways to reduce peeling
