Factory Butte | Mars Research Center | Moonscape Overlook + More
During this trip we decided to head to Southern Utah to do some proper hiking and exploring as well as landscape photography. We made several stops around the badlands. Most of these locations look otherworldly and were absolutely gorgeous! Although we were here for a limited amount of time, we were able to capture beautiful imagery but most importantly enjoy the landscape and experience unforgettable moments.

Is Moonscape better at sunrise or sunset?

Depends on what you’re going for. If you’re looking to get the sun in the horizon, definitely sunrise. Although sunsets there are amazing. Either way it’s a beautiful place to check out!

The slope is more or less eastern facing so morning will usually get better light. After a rain is best; brings out the colors. Summer monsoon in other words.
