I am doubtful about the "blocked game", like it's fun to watch the coaches be mad or whatever, but imagine you are singing, coaches press the button, and THE ONE you dream to choose (and be part of his team) afterward, is blocked :D That must be so frustrating :/
Idk, I think that it is also quite an honour. Everyone only has 1 block and someone used it on u because they thought THAT highly of u. Sure, u may not hey your favourite artist but at the end of the day, u still get someone that admires u and will work for u

@@supercharger101 they aren't aloud to go to her bcs of te block. the judges do that in hopes of getting the person instead of the judge they blocked getting them. They have to guess and block the judge they think will go for the auditioner
I never understood the "Blocking" system. It's mildly amusing for the viewers but the show is about the singer and at times they would want the blocked judge, let them choose. I never knew that system was used outside of America, especially the UK version

Each coach has buttons they can hit to block one of their fellow coaches if they wish to prevent like a really good artist from ending up on a different team. True. Both Ariana and John have experience in musical theatre (something which Joshua excels at) but Ariana clearly tops John in that field. At the same time, it's good that he got John because he can become a more versatile artist through exploring more genres of music.
I feel like the “blocking” technique is a little much. Only Part of the show is watching the coaches fight for the contestant, and it feels like they are saying that the coaches are the reason people watch it. Also, can’t the other coaches see that they blocked someone when they turn around? And, what if the contestant had their heart set on a specific judge and they got blocked? I just think that it’s a little much.
One of the judges prevent someone (another judge) to get chosen as a coach by the Contestant... And if someone gets blocked, the contestant isn't allowed to pick the blocked judge to be his/her coach
