The 1st one is the most brutal. Kaylee Bell wrote the song "Keith" that includes many of Keith Urbans song titles.
They shouldn't be able to block after they already turned around. Weird rule.

I agree that blocking after the song is done is a weird rule. I’m fine with blocks during the song because I personally find it funny and the US version only have one block so they have a chance of getting something maybe even better than the blocked artist, but after the song is done, blocking someone is just brutal

The block button is the whole reason I stopped watching the Voice. It shouldn't be about the judges. It should be about the contestants, and the contestants should have the choice to pick whichever judge they actually want, not be forced into a choice they don't want
I love Voice of Norway because no blocks…it’s about the talent not the coaches.

I am personally against blocking as I consider it rather unfair, but I find it entertaining when I see the reactions.
they should only be able to block when they turn, and not after song is over and they are talking with the contestant... thats just bad

The Voice Australia ruined everything, blocking after they turned, blocking after the performance, 2 blocks in one audition.
Just once I would like to see a contestant ask who blocked the coach they wanted.. then when they find out, they don't choose the "blocker' because of it. :o)

The “block buttons” are unfair. Each contestant probably has a favorite judge that they hope will turn but when that judge does turn and gets blocked by another judge, the contestant is penalized. KC thinks she’s so funny when she blocks but look closer you’ll see the disappointment on the contestant’s face because they would have picked the judge who got blocked.

The worst version of block button are in Portugal and Australia, when the coaches block too way after the other coach shows his/her intention of give the talent. These are the real unfair thing, as Keith and Aurea showed at these moments.

I've never understood why Kelly never notices the red light on the stage behind the singer which indicates she's been blocked. Maybe she's so focused on them that it takes seeing "Blocked" on the floor to alert her.
Maybe she sees it but pretends not to see it
Maybe they didn’t notice at first because they’re more interested in the voice of the artist and then they see the block
You missed the infamous Kelly block by Blake for Katie Kadan. I wouldn't be surprised if Katie would have run the table with Kelly as her coach. The Kadanites are still salty about that!

Der Knopf ist nur dazu da wenn man keine Argumente mehr hat warum das Talent zu einem kommen soll.

Blake Shelton uses his Block for fun while Kelly just do it to offend Blake.. then again; Blake is the winningest coach in The Voice US for a reason; he knows who is good and who is not good
I find the blocking of a coach by colleagues unfair to the talent.
But if they're really deserving and talented, it shouldn't matter what coach they have. All the coaches are on the show for a reason, so it's not like they're going to steer someone in the wrong direction even if their typical genre/voice/style doesn't match the talent perfectly.

I think the most epic block is the one that Antonio does to Fonsi when Beatriz sings "Yo no me doy por vencido" (in the same edition of La Voz España that was selected here), I think it deserves a full version of why he blocked Luis: "Because I love you!!" ... Blocking is dumb. The judges are already up there; the contestants aren't and if some clearly want the help of specific artists, they should be given that. It's not an easy industry

This block bs shouldn't even exist. It's a stupid way to create drama for TV, but at the expense of people's dreams.
I hate the block button because it deprives the contestant of the opportunity to work with a blocked coach. I’ve seen it many times just on the American version of The Voice. In my opinion, they need to get rid of it. It’s nothing more than a silly marketing ploy used by the producers to boost their show’s TV ratings.
The very first female singer is playing an electric guitar. How is it, that the guitar isn´t plugged into an electrical socket? Or am I so old, that electric guitars don´t need to be plugged in anymore?

Blocks are the worst part of the show. The judges don't get anything extra for having the winning artist, so just let the artist pick whichever judge works best for them of the ones who turned around.
The show is not about the voice anymore its all about the judges.
Blocking is mean and stupid. It robs the contestant of a choice- often their favorite or most logical choice.

Blocks should never be aloud. Or at least the contestant should be able to select any Judge that turns. I keep hoping The Voice/AGT/BGT get a contestant that says no thanks. There has been lot of talk about the control 'the show" has over what actually gets to air and how much the contestants are set up to present as required. Don't like to hear that at all.

They can’t block when the singer has finished the song. Jessica Mauboy is terrible, never like her anyway. John Legends face when Kelly turned.
I love the concept of the voice but i hate the block feature. What if a contestent had theor heart set on somebody, what if the blocked judge is a better coach for their talent. It just seems like a very selfish tool for the judges to use
