enjoyed the review from thailand , one of my favorite spots. its a blast riding scooter or motorcycle in the city. chaing mai too pai now thats a ride
Nicely done, Motoman! My last bike was a 69 Bonnie, which I loved. I fell hard for the Bobber when I first saw it. Could not be more pleased to see this review done in Chiang Mai, which I recognized straight away. Thailand is my happy place. I'm following you from now on, just because. Thank you, my man!
thank u bro
by far my fav review of the bobber
Screw all the haters in this comment section, Chiang Mai is beautiful - keep the reviews coming motoman!
Thanks bro
Perfect
been there, it`s kind of a shithole
Poor country but people are really nice
Lovely bike for arsing around on.a sunny day......Comfortable and torquey......No hassle around town......Nice one Motoman......
Great ride review mate 👌🏼
epic bike. definitely my next purchase
Awesome looking bike cant wait to buy one
Great review!
Love the bike look. It’s a toss up between this and the Indian Scout bobber
that's my home town Chiangmai but now i live in fuckin new york. i wish i'll be riding that one in my beloved home town soon.
Very nice. I like the int'l sightseeing.
Nice, this is the one.
My father in law rides harley and kept telling me about them so i said they just dont appeal to me. So he showed me these after i metioned a triumph tiger and i have to say its a nice looking bike. I like the vintage bikes so this fits the style i like without the vintage problems.
Great vid mate. I rode on last week here in Aus. Absolutely loved it to bits. I'm too much of a hoon though & know that I'd end up pushing it way harder than it's design brief if it was my daily ride. If I could trade my wife's Monster in on one and keep my Tiger 800 I'd be very happy to ride the Bobber on "quiet days".
(and yes, you can be a BIG hoon on a TIger 800 :) )
+Mike McLeod haha yeah I get you there mate. Bit to specialized to go mad on. A great bike to add to your garage tho ;)
ขอบคุณที่ติดตามครับ
The seat slides front/back and tilts up/down. Also Triumph offers a shorter front and rear fender
Thanks Motoman, I love your real world reviews dude. I love this bobber and the Thruxton R. Both are overpriced I think but the Triumph marketing guys have aimed these at the weekend rider who has money in their back pocket. I wonder what the used market will look like in a couple of years.
Thanks mate. Yes the secondhand market can be a real good hunting ground haha
Respect Bro. Cool review as usual. I'm down in Koh Tao island. Looking at the Bobber and or the MT09. That was a nice to the point review too. Respect homey. Keep em coming. So cool the bike shop in Chaing Mai let you year ride, no way do they let you in Surat Thani. Laters......
Nice one bro. Might see you riding around Chiang Mai on my brat style street twin from Britbike.
Say hi if you do mate.
Great review dude just love this bike. The guy who shrugged you off just look at his girl she was all over it dude. 😂😂 keep the first rides coming.
+rod pollard thanks bro
Awesome video ... Considering buying this bike as my first bike in Thailand I’m also 6’3 just doing my research how much was the bobber in baht ? Thanks in advance
Can't wheelie it.......wot a mature review ya feelin' it man
Great review, awesome bike. Looking at one for myself. F the haters
Man that is one good looking bike. Just wish I could afford one. Prob have to settle for the new Honda Rebel 500 and customize it
Yeah thats the catch mate
Great video. Can't believe the people complaining about the roads! Flipping heck, I ride in much better but also much worse places. Anyone can have a crash at any point, but damn, just have some confidence in yourselves and ride safe!
Firstly I reckoned its shot on Florida, but if not mentioned Thailand later on, those honda C90 flying around made me sure, thats not Florida!
9.1 litre fuel tank. Okay if you don't want to go anywhere. Great low-down performance. The perfect engine for Thailand, but I wouldn't like to sit so low, and I don't like the bobber look, although the engine looks nice. Does it run on tubed tyres? I wouldn't like that, either.
I love Chiang Mai but not as much as Chiang Rai.
Motoman: Thailand's top bike vlogger.
I loved the seat ... I really like the look of it and its feel ... BUT and that's a big but ... it costs more than the new Street Triple RS (I know it's totally different).
Yep the price isnt shy for sure
Hey man! Very nice video! Thank you first of all!
But can you tell me what do you say at 13:03? Thank you!
I said I dont think you could "wheelie it" :D
Oh xD
hahaha thanks!
อยู่อังกฤษมากี่ปีครับเนี่ย สำเนียงอังกฤษแท้ๆเลย
I don't think I could ever ride a motorcycle there..I'd be a nervous wreck.
Hahaha
So, being a tall guy this bike doesn't feel small? I am 6"4' and always loved bobbers. This one looks fantastic for completely stock bike.
Im 6"3 and it was fine mate
Não entendi nadinha do idioma(rs),mas gostei do vídeo !
Yeah man cool bike! You are having a chill smooth ride and then u piss on the traffic beside you Lol! I like it, cool ride Motoman but you need to be a pirate to own one haha you are killin it with this test ride☠️
Hahaha thanks dude
That's my dream bike
I'd definitely buy one if the engine was smaller, like 300cc
Where was this filmed?
Quick question since you weren't really clear - is it smooth?
+Brandon Stroup LOOL
;)
I'm probably going to sound dumb but is there a chance for a seat to carry a passenger as well? Or is it too low from the back?
+Genaro Hernandez there's only a mud guard, 1 person bike for sure.
Genaro Hernandez don't buy a fucking bobber if you wanna ride with a passenger.
Right haha I'm thinking about the t100 instead
Genaro Hernandez T120 is your choice for two up
"They do a Camry red color...I call it Camry red... is it called Camry red?...I call it Camry red..."
+Freeman Cranberry LOL
Looks alot like Chiang Mai, Thailand hahaha
I never could get comfortable going in between cars like that.
I've ridden it - its all of what you say. And the women seem to dig it as well.
+CITIZEN ONE, Author She loved it mate haha
No passenger yea?
He may have shrugged it off, but more importantly, she seemed to like it...
You think this can make a first bike?
If I win the lottery, I'd have a stable of different bikes, that would be the only way I'd get a bobber. Nice bike but there is so may nice bikes and this couldn't be my first or even a 2nd bike. I'd probably go with the new scrambler over this if I'd go the Triumph retro route.
That's why my new black bobber looks great beside my Tiger 800XCa. It's not a primary bike but could be with a simple backpack.
Yeah it'd be my 3rd I think.
was it on the 6th gear on the way highway?
Nope the gears are long, I was in 3rd almost the whole time and shifted to 4th to be relaxed. Loads of cruising power :D
hey, one more thing, grab a bite at Lotus Kamtieng for me please. hahaha
how tall are you?
Bonneville is a classic and it's beautiful too, that guy on the scooter may have shrugged it off, but his lady was salivating all over it ;)
Personally I wouldn't spend this kind of money on it, if I was in the market for a cafe racer for the city I'd look at the 800cc Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer. Same category, great looks, sure - not a luxury bike like this one, but still damn nice.
Yeah that guy preferred his scooter LOL This was a beautiful machine but expensive no doubt.
Oh Chiang mai my home.
man thos roads are a complete fucking cluster fuck.. where do you live?
looks like northern Thailand
Art Sillapanon came here to say the same thing. I called Chiangmai
Great weather, but looks like a place were i'd catch some stomach virus before exiting the airplane. Dude you should come to europe and see how much fun a bike is on a road that has actual tarmac
Yes Chiang mai is right :D
MrPainfulTruth Europe has nice and shit roads as you know. Same for Thailand so you should open your mind up
test ride in chiangmai ?
Chai kab
Chiang mai, Thailand ??
Chai kab
i think the sound should be much more agressive
Are you from Jamaica?
Or is that the new London accent?
North London mate
Do you have more than one accent? Do you use another one to talk to your mother and father?
The only thing putting me off is the 9L fuel tank. 9L? really? I've had 250cc bikes with more fuel capacity than that!
Thanks for the review. These roads are actually fun to ride on and there is an etiquette drivers understand. Lots of pussies having a cry should stick to their country boring straight roads.
Lovely bike - rode one a few days ago and it's bloody amazing. Was looking at the street RS and now I'm having to choose between the two.
Bobber - character, comfy, torque
Street RS - technically perfect, easy ride
Not buying the bobber cause it's hard to wheelie it sounds a bit funny
9 litre tank? Gonna buy one and fit a Thunderbird tank 25 litres 😂
the tank looks like a cheap stamped out job (wide seam running under tank) for 11k
through my eyes
Yep, like almost every other bike.
Where are these built? Are you in India?
Bobber+Chaing Mai?
Shut up and take my money!!!!!!
im 6.2ft do u think it fit for me?
Im 6,3 and thought it was fine mate.
Tbird
as a german, that traffic was painfull to watch
LOL
See Indian traffic and this looks like most organized and traffic rules obeying place on earth.
btr then a harley by far.
Dennis Morris you mean THAN a Harley
where the fuck are you driving? No traffic laws there ?
.. "Bobbers"... bikes with seats that scream "I don't have a woman in my life ! ".. and won't meet any while riding this !!!
who's the street boy reviewing this bike? don't sound too bright!
That looks like Chiang Mai.
