Marc is a great guy to work with. Had him in my studio a few years ago and what a talented soul. So happy he now has a great creative space of his own.
and a packet of candy! jeepers you didn't mention the most important thing! but yes, this is by far one of my favorite series on youtube. you do such a fantastic job and find the best folks!
we must be similar age i remember having an old fostex mr8 as a teenager and just being so into making my own tunes i was never one of those kids that was learning guns and roses or whatever. love this standing desk BTW ive been thinking about making my studio space more standing friendly cuz of posture and circulation but also just sometimes it's nice to jog around while mixing
another video where awesome thing is mentioned “I don’t know. Got it on Amazon” lol 😆 also the communion table wasn’t mentioned! I was most intrigued by that lol. Great video, as always!
I couldn't find the lighter color one he's got in his studio, but managed to track down a Walnut version of it that fits way better with my space anyway... Thought I'd share in case you're also searching: amzn.to/3ATocuL
(12:21)Marc clearly knows great gear, the D.W. Fearn VT-2 is the best mic pre on the market, now he needs the VT-5 and VT-7 for the best EQ and Compression.
Andrew!!!! Come to Brazil, meet the Forest Lab studio, please! 🙏🏾🙏🏾. Found her channel her in UA-cam. Search Lisciel Franco. He make own compresors and anythings to record totaly analogic jobs. (Sorry if any gramatic wrong I was make kkkk)
Very cool .. not sure if this chap understands what most folk start with .... when he was a kid he started with a 'crappy $150 mic' but super impressive collection in a lovely space
Great channel. I love to watch the tours of all these amazing studios, but how many hours per week is spent just cleaning these places? I mean to keep the dust away from everything must almost be a full time job.
Hey everyone! Have any of you seen any interviews or details where Marc talks about how he loops on his newer instagram videos? Would love to find that info.
a rhode NT1 (or NT2 if ya have a bit more to work with) is still the best vocal mic for the price, hands down. If you're just starting and don't have much money but would like to start with something of quality that'll still be usable down the line.. that's the move. If you're a hip hop guy check out Marco Polo's albums. Most, if not all- at least up to a few years ago were done on the NT1(vocally speaking obviously). He's a trained engineer- they're interviews where he breaks down why that's the best mic for the money in technical terms; if you're into the techy explanations
He pretty much built all of the racks at Gnome Studios over by Fork's. Gnome is a cool setup and a cool location. I'd like to see you tour that place at some point. I've been there once and it was really cool.
In all seriousness, where in the world does the money come from for all that gear!? He's got super high end vintage stuff, while he walks around and acts like it's no big deal or something smh. Yeeeesh!
Great room, got a lot of inspiration for my own build..👍 I was wondering what controller he uses on the little Amazon Desk to control volume of the speakers? it looks like no cables, so how do control volume?
I need a keyboard stand on wheels like those he has in his studio. Anyone know who makes those, I looked on Sweetwater and didn't see anything like those.
I can only see the basic "side table" in the description. + the Marc's Gear link is not there? anyway, really curious about that standing table on wheels! cool studio, I'm building a huge room like that but want it pretty much non roomy, I like his room sounds, or lack of it. best @@AndrewMasters
Ok, seriously; You didn't ask about the big Church Communion Table (IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME)? So was that choice religious, sac-religious, or personal memorabilia? Just curious.
Non-sponsored message about Sweetwater: you should be buying all your gear through them. They have the BEST customer service, and if you ever run into a technical problem they have audio engineers on staff waiting to help. They're #1 by far.
I love the open room design here. Thanks to Marc Scibilia for having me out! What's your favorite piece in his studio?
That WFL kick must sound insane
sorry @Thesideyardstudio
The communion table
Those ATCs...
Daylight and having a room that makes you feel comfortable is so underrated for a studio. This comes close to my perfect studio.
"You've got one of the best knobs." - Andrew Masters, July 2021.
Someday I’ll have a knob like that.
Finally. A quote he can be remembered for.
“You’ve got one of the best knobs.” 🤣
I got super inspired just seeing Marc's studio. Great point he made about building the studio in reverse. Vibe of the room first, Amazing gear second.
Marc is a great guy to work with. Had him in my studio a few years ago and what a talented soul. So happy he now has a great creative space of his own.
"I'm more of a owner of guitars than a player".. lol.. That's me as well.
“You got one of the best knobs…” Priceless
This is such a cool space. Josh Niles has such an obvious fingerprint on the spaces he builds, and they’re all great!
LOVE how open and changeable the entire room is. Really neat!
Dude homie blew up this year!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
His Space seems really modular & user friendly awesome
Hands down the coolest studio I've seen on this channel.
I get so many ideas for my studio from watching these. Thanks Andrew.
Having equipment on rollers is key. I have some of my gear set up that way. So much easier to quickly change your environment.
all the studio tour you did this studio is it i like everything about it
So well organized and absolutely beautiful!
Thanks for watching Laney!
I love the Tech 21 shout out. This guy has all the doodads under the sun and he prefers the Liverpool.
Very cool space and a lovely bloke! I'm looking forward to listening to your music Marc!
Eames lounge is like the Fairchild 660 of chairs
the song in the intro is frickin poppin off dude. Punchy and fresh af. Love it!
Wow that's really awesome! One of the nicest studios I've seen so far
Thanks for watching!
There is a bed in the corner, cool!!It's a studio home
Love the layout and the space. Like the idea of being able to move things around.
Just found this guy on insta the other day, and now seeing this video for the first time! Epic for sure. My favourite studio setup by far.
Now that's a "home" studio. Lovely
Awesome studio 🔥🔥🔥
Would love to have an open ceiling studio like that! B-E-A-utiful.
That stand is awesome!!!
one of the best so far
and a packet of candy! jeepers you didn't mention the most important thing! but yes, this is by far one of my favorite series on youtube. you do such a fantastic job and find the best folks!
Playing the blood on organ! This guy is goated!!!
I love his songs. Summer clothes on top of all. Super studio too.
you got one of the best knobs ;)
Beautiful and roomy with heaps of lighting and a lovely colour scheme. Love the utility of the space. Great tour. Thank you.
I agree that MPC Live is like that!!! Dope studio set up!!! RIP to my uncle Wah Wah Watson!!!!
That's an awesome space!
An amazing studio! I like the mobility of everything.
Absolutely.
That man LOVES his Moog. Notice how many times he touches that keyboard?
I like the easy go design.

Yes Andrew, another quality video!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I would honestly consider memorizing this guys schedule and planning my life around sneaking into this studio when he’s not there to use it. Dang.
Creepy
nice place. love an open space with a loft
Me too!
This might be one of my favorite studios from the series!!! What a beautiful open space! Very inspiring
Another awesome vid!
Thanks!
I just checked Mark's music. He has a phenomenal voice!
another video where awesome thing is mentioned “I don’t know. Got it on Amazon” lol 😆 also the communion table wasn’t mentioned! I was most intrigued by that lol. Great video, as always!

Apparently he is exclusively using it as DI for the Moog??
@@wuliwong The D.W Fearn VT-3 is the D.I. I use for electronic gear, the VT3 and a VT2 makes the best processing on any type of instrument input.
This is the dream studio
Beautiful room! I wonder how a kick drum on wheels would sound?
that's my kind of home studio
This is amazing!!!
You can tell your editing is getting better...very pleasant
Shout out to Reid on the edit. (Fun fact: I don't edit these and haven't since end of february)
@@AndrewMasters Well then, Reid is paying off!

You had me at "it's unlike anything I've seen"
I think the desk is the “Stockholm” Mobile Desk from Temple & Webster, I also liked it and was searching around for something similar. 🤘🏻
It's not, I just picked one up for my studio and am loving it. I put the link for it in the description for anyone trying to find it.
@@AndrewMasters are you using it for just your mouse and keyboard or do you have your monitor on it too?
Great channel. I love to watch the tours of all these amazing studios, but how many hours per week is spent just cleaning these places? I mean to keep the dust away from everything must almost be a full time job.
Wow!
Nice set up
nice!
I love this studio and the guy is cool

everything is possible if your music is on billboard top 10
I’ve been wondering the same thing
5:51 : what’s the product on the ceiling he’s referring to?
fabricmate wall track and most likely their cotton recore insulation with GOM fabric.
I love this one
This dude is running away from the video the whole time 😂 sick setup though!
Did you get to hear the SCM 150s?
Sunlight is underrated
For anyome who may need the info about the desk... Pneumatic laptop desk workstation on amazon
Link for it is in the description (supports the channel).
16:00 drumbreak
Andrew you gotta get that desk
I just picked one up and it was delivered today haha I love it
@@AndrewMasters now we want a review .......please
Do you have link of the desk?
Damn!
Yo is that clay finnesand I hear in the background?? We grew up playing together!!
Sure is! Use his stuff in almost every video

I was wondering what controller he uses on the little Amazon Desk to control volume of the speakers? it looks like no cables, so how do control volume?
It’s the grace audio m905, there is one remote cable that runs to it.
Shout out buffalo! Lol
LOL...YOU GOT ONE OF THE BEST KNOBS **don't make it weird, mate**
Hey, he’s from near Jamestown which 10,000 Maniacs are from if anyone remember them.
Whats the intro song? its amazing
9:40 did he shop at the church
I was hoping to hear the story behind the communion table.
I need a keyboard stand on wheels like those he has in his studio. Anyone know who makes those, I looked on Sweetwater and didn't see anything like those.
Check the description under my gear: keyboard stands on wheels
Dam I looked at the list quickly and miss that. Thanks
What's this desk ???? btw really nice studio...
The gear rack was custom built by his friend, the standing table on wheels is linked in the description - it's from amazon.

a room like this needs a dutch & dutch 8c or kii three monitors to tune to the room
