I love how this series shows the true "impact" of top lane. Even if you hardcore win lane and make the enemy look like a minion you will never have as much agency as the bot laners that have been crying and swearing at each other for more than half the game. Top notch!

I honestly love your ability to admit that you made misplays and that some plays were indeed your fault and learn from those mistakes. This is a lot from a league player lol
As a trynd main in master elo, his 3 last points is funny :P. 1. Having high fury is NO important, youwould much rather heal up before fight for a longer fight. The bonus ad from q and low hp is enough. 2. You should always q just before ulting (unless ur ignited) for a longer fight, after kill you heal with triumph anyway. 3. Shove and roam is for mid and late game, early game you cannot let opponent get a free push, free proxy and plates.
You explained trynd so well, yes he is broken, unless enemy knows how to walk away, how to kite, how to use cc, how to play as a team, how to camp tryndamere, if they prolong the game every time until 40min mark where i am usless, if they buy armor, if they know i am tryndamere and dont dive me on lvl 6, yes there is meny but also yes i do have meny games that i win and even more games that i dominate, in 85% of games i dominate my enemy but my influence on bronze players isnt enough, and unlike Ecore that does get, in bronze top lanes never get their ganks unless they are the enemy, and even if i dominate i get camped whole game and i would be fine if my team used oppertunity when 5 enemies are on top and they can do what ever they want but they dont, they like to watch me die while farming jungle, so tryndamere is playable only in plat dia and maybe masters, also yes he is broken but only if you know how to play him, like every champ so no he is not easy, thank you
Best way to play tryndamere is to be selfish farm and side push while occasionally helping with objectives. Get so powerful that the enemy has to send two champions to stop you and ask your team to group take those 4v3s. If they can’t win those then the game is usually unsalvagable
The reason why I hate Tryndamere is because he doesn't feel like a berserker. The fact that he's just as good at running away with his spin and ult as he is attacking kills the character fantasy. Every other berserker in the game needs to be on the attack to do anything which is how a berserker should feel.

Fogged is good but best trynd is RANGERZX. He makes trynd only content and its pretty fun. He is rank 1 trynda world and one of the best top laners EUW
people thinks trynda its only for split pushing, this is part of the gameplay ofc, but the thing with tryndamere its to waste the time of the enymy jg and create space for his team, 4v4 or even better 3v4 when the enemy jg is helping the top to not lose the entire base.. the real problem in low elo its people always want to fight with no reason or objetive and even without puhs their lane... trynda is so versatile, you can win the game only by wasting the enemy time baitin ganks on you, or when people start to recall cuz theyre afraid to lose their base... its one of the best champs to climb from silver to d, just ban malphite xd

@@EcoreLoL Wouldve at least been a lot more tight and definitely not as free as it came across. The 1% is the exact permutation of 4 crits one non crit, the actual chance of 4 crits is 5-10% sorry for misinfo.
2:45 about that limit test... that part was one of the worst nerfs that happened to tryndamere and no one talks about it. You remember a while back (been a few years) Riot buffed the tower damage slightly. Well, before that, you could tank that tower shot with the healing you'd get from Q. You could do some super crazy dives, like literal lvl6 full hp dives and shit. It was amazing. Now, if your ult runs out while still being targeted by the tower, you're just dead.
Trynda is a classic example of "damaged" design that at this point can't (and shouldn't) be changed. The problem is that he straight up ignored a mechanic of the game with a button, no counterplay. It's just like Yuumi does by being an Enchanter yhat can't be bursted down first by virtue of not being present on the map. People say the same about Kayn, but in truth it doesn't work the same way. A kayn that waste his E on a defensuve manuever is simply throwing away his ability to put pressure on the map and enemy backline, and is probably going to be out of position anyway as a result. Yes, a properly played Kayn can be the most slippery asshole possible jumping at you from walls anywhere, but that's an *active* play, not a reactive. Trynda can be surprised out of position and he might just shrug it off, run at people, press R and collect a kill anyway. I am not saying "He is broken", but that this mechanic simply limits what the champion can be, because if he gets too strong he will simply hit too high winrates and become a pooular ban.

There is no SHOT my toe was in there XD. I have watched that clip so many times when editing. I realized maybe my hit box includes part of my hand and sword which would make sense in a few other hits as well when I was playing him
The reason why Tryndamere has that "broken" ult, is because melee ad carries need it, regular adcs have one thing melee adcs don't have, range. If tryndamere gets kited, it doesn't matter how godly damage you can deal, but as a ranged adc, you'll always do damage, because you outrange everyone, also, tryndamere doesn't team fight, he just splits the entire game, forever, and ever, and ever
@@EcoreLoL it's literally how you gotta play trynd, he's godly in 1v1 or 1v2, but he's very bad at any tf because he can get cc locked and goodbye, and since he has good mobility, you can push a wave and then rotate while someone goes to collect it, making a 5v4 situation
He doesn't *need* it, it's plenty of strong duelists that aren't designed to straight up ignore HP for 5 seconds. Look at Viego or anyone else in that category for crying out loud.

Agreed. Hes just fundamentally flawed. He is stupid OP in some ways,but must be exploitable in other areas (kiting) to balance it. Thing is, good lane sustain, free crit chance, hogh mobility, and stat stealing is already limiting what he can be afforded. Then you have his ultimate. In my opinion, his ult should be more situational, tied to his fury (and Fury being harder to gain) and the ultimate having its duration tied to that, and maybe a good AD bonus once Fury is filled and during the ult if it was filled before popping. This stops it from being a cheap "anti death" tool unless he was fulfulling the undying berserker fantasy. Rework from there. Fact is, his ult is too strong to make meaningful changes. If they wanna keep his ult, they have to nerf it and make it more conditional.

Also in teamfights I normally use Zhonyas but even that isnt enough most of the time really annoying ultimate. The champ itself without the ultimate is weak as hell but with the ultimate its busted as hell so everytime he kills me with R I have to kill him to even have a chance if I fail i will just go 0/5 in lane due to him tower diving me with 0 respect

W can do more than slow and situationally take AD. Q can be more than just a heal you pop towards the end of a skirmish or your ult. In fact, lets say this. Should Tryndamere have survivability rewarded for fighting? I say yes. And while raging,that can be more offensive minded. A W that gives him a shield and does aoe damage based on AD, increasing with less health. During his ultimate, the shield could be delayed to apply AFTER the ult drops. That alone could make for some amazing plays that fits into an undying berserker fantasy. Hes must vulnerable before the battle. Once hes in the brawl, he becomes a true terror. So yeah, im not calling for a strict nerf. Im calling for a better design.

You play great...but you focus so much on kills.. thats wrong. Use the baus law its way better then the kills law. You full build before 30 mins eith baus law...good luck on your climb champ
So.. you won the games you had a better team and lost the ones you didn’t, and as a Trynd unless you were 20.0 you couldn’t impact the game enough to carry, as even a single mistake was game throwing? Sums up Plat games quite well. Enemies not bad enough to 1vs9 consistently and aren’t good enough to make you feel like you deserve to be stuck there. Also Gold and Plat ranks are inflated so a third of the players range between fresh accounts and Smurfs making a large portion of your games literal coinflips. Fun.

I was playing Shen and Same thing happened to me with the support staying top except it was an Ashe and she basically sold the game for there team

everytime you trade on lv 1-3 on the first waves its entirely luck based wether or not you win trades go even or loose them theres literally no consistency in order to reliably predict his dmg

Agreed. Hes just fundamentally flawed. He is stupid OP in some ways,but must be exploitable in other areas (kiting) to balance it. Thing is, good lane sustain, free crit chance, hogh mobility, and stat stealing is already limiting what he can be afforded. Then you have his ultimate.
In my opinion, his ult should be more situational, tied to his fury (and Fury being harder to gain) and the ultimate having its duration tied to that, and maybe a good AD bonus once Fury is filled and during the ult if it was filled before popping. This stops it from being a cheap "anti death" tool unless he was fulfulling the undying berserker fantasy. Rework from there. Fact is, his ult is too strong to make meaningful changes. If they wanna keep his ult, they have to nerf it and make it more conditional.
@@hellfrozenphoenix13 I totally agree I cant tell you how often I died in my own turret due to him just pressing Oh I'm unkillable button. Also in teamfights I normally use Zhonyas but even that isnt enough most of the time really annoying ultimate. The champ itself without the ultimate is weak as hell but with the ultimate its busted as hell so everytime he kills me with R I have to kill him to even have a chance if I fail i will just go 0/5 in lane due to him tower diving me with 0 respect

His ult is oP, the rest of his kit MUST suffer because of it. They need to move some power from the ultimate so his kit can be buffed as a whole and make for the Tryndamere that league deserves, while fulfilling the fantasy. Making his r less of a cheese tool and making it reliant on battle,you can make changes to his Q W and E to make him WAY better. E can be afforded a longer distance. W can do more than slow and situationally take AD. Q can be more than just a heal you pop towards the end of a skirmish or your ult. In fact, lets say this. Should Tryndamere have survivability rewarded for fighting? I say yes. And while raging,that can be more offensive minded. A W that gives him a shield and does aoe damage based on AD, increasing with less health. During his ultimate, the shield could be delayed to apply AFTER the ult drops. That alone could make for some amazing plays that fits into an undying berserker fantasy. Hes must vulnerable before the battle. Once hes in the brawl, he becomes a true terror.
So yeah, im not calling for a strict nerf. Im calling for a better design.

Sums up Plat games quite well.
Enemies not bad enough to 1vs9 consistently and aren’t good enough to make you feel like you deserve to be stuck there. Also Gold and Plat ranks are inflated so a third of the players range between fresh accounts and Smurfs making a large portion of your games literal coinflips.
