Loyal Bare Minerals powder foundation user here. I have oily skin and have found powder foundations just work better for my skin type and are easier. I have never found anything I liked better...until now. This L'Oreal foundation made my skin look FLAWLESS! I have never received so many compliments, people said my SKIN looked great, not my makeup, which I find even more complimentary. I used Hourglass Mineral Veil primer, then pressed a light coat of translucent powder over that with a Beauty blender. Then I used the L'Oreal foundation with my It Cosmetics foundation brush. I am going to try the sponge that comes in the packaging as Nikkia did as well. If you are on the fence, try it!

I prefer powder foundations after wearing liquid for many years. I find they are so much easier and faster for me and look much better.

This is my new go-to foundation! So quick, easy, and beautiful. Also, can I suggest you doing some shots in natural light as well when reviewing foundation? It’s hard to get a good feel for how it actually looks when under studio lights.

I just bought this foundation two days ago (without reading any recommendation before) and I´m already in love with it! Absolutely great and super easy to apply!
I have this and it is awesome! I apply it with the sponge and then buff it out with a dense brush. Stays in place all day.

I have typically dry skin and I apply this with a very lightly dampened beauty blender and its literally FLAWLESS!!! I absolutely love this powder foundation! So much better than the Fenty one!
What primer do you use to not make your face dry ?
@@helenaxoxoxo1404 I use Touch in Sol - No Poreblem most days, but if I have somewhere special to go, I use the Dr. Brant Mattifying primer.

@@bebeautiful3915 definetely matt! But I find that if you prefer a more Natural/satin finish, you can apply It with a damp beauty sponge rather than the provided applicator(which gives the fullest coverage on the other side)!
I liked how it looked when you first applied it. I'm an oily gal with large pores as well on my nose. It did an amazing job with your skin. The only difference in opinion I have is that I do NOT like my skin to be that shiny after either check in. I would have powdered it with your setting powder after both checkins. I also rewound the video to see what it looked like compared to the checkins. I believe it oxidized on you. I'm glad you liked it. Would be interested to see how you like it after using it several times. You didn't say if you used a primer so I wonder how that would impact it as well. Love ya!!!
Yes it oxidised on her and I think shade is somewhat dark also
I think this is a really great dupe for the It Cosmetics Celebration powder foundation it applies just as richly as this one with added peptides and silk .. glad to find a less expensive version ..

My mom has started using this foundation but found it makes her dry skin look dryer. I let her try my Auric Glow Lust, so she's been wearing that underneath it, and OMG I honestly don't think I've seen her look better!

For dry skin pür mineral pressed foundation is best.. It's what I used n only thing worked when my face was falling off of dryness

@@michellebenfield9953 I have dry skin and am using a retinol, so its tragic lol! But today I added a drop of jojoba to my moisturizer, then layered the Glow Lust under my mineral foundation, and found a winner. Definitely try this!!

I’m 49 with oily skin (still!). I love this foundation so much. I like to apply some Korean zero sebum powder before and they work together like magic!

Not fair, Nikkia makes everything look beautiful! I'm surprised it lasted so well with the wear test Others have said it broke down after 4 hours. I wonder if using the NJ setting powder made it last longer and wear better?
I've had this for weeks now and I love it. however, I got a shade too light but I just make do with bronzer. Definitely looks better since it's warmer now so my oils come through and make it look less of a powdery look. But I just spritzed finishing spray and made it look better for when my face was more dry. I've used the sponge and brush and it definitely does give you different coverage levels and I love that. It's going to be a staple for this summer hands down.
shiseido had one like this a few years ago that was amazing but the price was just too expensive 😓 I’m beyond excited to try this one now! ❤️

Thank you so much for reviewing this! It's the first drugstore powder foundation I've tried in the past 15 years because my skin is so oily, I don't normally trust drugstore products to do the job. It took a while for me to find it in the shade I needed, but when I finally found it, I had a similar experience to you. Plus, I have quite pale skin, and it's difficult to find a shade that matches, but this product in Porcelain is absolutely perfect! I mean, I wish I needed a darker shade, but I'm just glad I finally found the shade I need, and everything I need in a powder foundation, and it's drugstore! I've already bought 2 more, to make sure I don't run out any time soon!

I thought you were shiny at 6 hours, but the makeup was not breaking down. I probably would have touched up at that point. Looks amazing when you do touch up! Doesn't look clumpy or patchy.

Love this 😍 I have combo skin and rosacea, this covered redness easily and with right primer did not cling to dry spots. Hopefully they will expand shade range!
I hope so, the shade range is dreadful! I tried Ivory which is the lightest shade available in the UK and it's too dark and too pink😭 Otherwise the formulation is great. Stayed on my face all day, even after a 5k run! Very impressive.

I just finished watching April, from Wannamakeup, speak about her experience with this powder foundation from L'Oreal, and she loves it! She compared it to one by Make Up Forever, and recommends a sponge for best application! I've enjoyed the liquid version as well, so now I'm thinking I might have to try this powder version! Ur nails are adorable but gosh that foundation is gorgeous and the color matches you so perfectly ahhh I got to get my hands on this it almost reminds me a little of the Mac studio fix powder holy moly I need this in my life! This stuff is AMAZING!!!! It’s taken months for Walmart to get fully stocked on this stuff at least in my neck of the woods. I try other ones, like Maybelline super stay powder and L’Oréal still wins! This qualifies as a high end product! We are lucky of the price that it really is.
If you’re contemplating touching up during a wear test maybe just touch up half of the face so we can see how it looks both ways 😊

I purchased this last weekend and wore it today. Had a friend come over for a coffee around 6 hours after I applied it and she said that my makeup looked really good today and wanted to know what I was wearing ☺ I have combination skin and noticed that I just need a slight touch up once throughout the day on the t-zone and that's it.

Well I guess I will have to go out and buy this product. I have always wanted to try a powder foundation as I really do not like using a liquid because after a few hours my face just feels heavy reguardless of which brand it is .I do not use too much foundation on my face and I think and hope that this will be a great solution to just having a nautural looking finish on my face. Hi Nikkia. If you like the Loreal Infaillable then you should also try the Rimmel Lasting wear long wearing foundation powder which is FULL cover. You will definitely love it and it is stightly cheaper. I have a very oily skin and I use the Rimmel one.

I love this foundation! Maybe you can apply the concealer before the foundation, just because it is a powder foundation. You know it better than I do, of course! But I did it like that with this foundation and it was even nicer!
(With the fenty powderfoundation I apply the concealer after the foundation).

Yes, I heard all the hype, but I guess I missed the part about oily skin - it really ages my skin ...... I guess I thought it would be ok, because I do wear Bare Minerals and It powder foundation, but no ..... can’t use this !

Hi Nikkia I tried this and it’s ok, but I have very dry skin so it looks a bit flat on me. I put in my work bag for touch ups and it disintegrated as if I’d dropped it. Which I didn’t. Then I noticed it said ‘infaillable’ not infallible which made me think it was fake. Except I bought it from Priceline. I contacted L’Oréal Australia and they said there had been some labelling issues. Seems a bit dodgy. So watch out everyone!

I love this powder!!! I never wear liquid foundation anymore because it’s just too heavy and I hated it rubbing off any time I pulled a sweatshirt on or off or messing the collars of my shirts and my boyfriends shirts when I hugged him but this powder!!! It’s just perfect for me because I hate liquid foundations, I’m super oily and they just never stayed on. I just apply the tiniest bit with a powder brush because I just want enough coverage to even out my skin tone and it’s perfect! Does exactly what I want it to and doesn’t settle or break down on my skin so it’s 10/10 for me. Blurs my pores and holds up well and is perfect for every day light coverage but is easily buildable with layering or a sponge if I needed that extra fuller coverage moment.

Dry skin review or not I'm still getting this. I have dry skin but with a great moisturizer under this it should be great! I just love the way it looks and how well it covers with little effort. It's a yes for me..I'm sold! The only problem is I'm going to have to wait till my shade comes back into stock cuz it's out of stock everywhere and I'm not paying $25-$32 for it on Amazon when it only costs $11.99 to get it in stock! It definitely clung to my dry patches I get on my cheeks. But I tried it again right after exfoliating and it looked so much better
@@ericar.2319 thank you! I have oily dehydrated skin in Michigan winters so kinda have both the nuances of dry and oily skin. Although the shades I would consider have been sold out so probably be a while to try it 🥲
This was a total no for my normal to dry skin! Very drying even with a glowy setting spray. I like the J Cat Aquasurance Compact foundation. I set that with the Catrice Illuminating prime & fine dewy glow fixing spray. Has good coverage too.

I do think overall this one looks better on the skin yes! It’s like photoshop haha! But I do think the Fenty stays more matte❤️
