The only thing wrong with Journeyman is that sometimes they put a 'sneak peak' on UA-cam with a full version title and then you gotta pay for the full version. Its not that much, usually only a dollar but it still sneaky. But I agree- Journeyman is great ;)

There’s countries where you’ll die for getting high and yet people still do it. Long as employers are hiring illegal immigrants they will come here. Criminally punish companies that hire illegal immigrants. There not rushing into Mexico looking for work. There’s no jobs. As long as there’s people here willing to hire them we could build a wall planes would scrape on and people would still come. You arrest a few fruit company CEOs the practice of hiring illegal immigrants would end. Quickly.

This is an extremely engrossing and informative video that really gives a first-hand view of the situation in China and Myanmar. One part of the video I find particularly interesting is the section on the rehabilitation factories. I think it is fascinating that the previous drug addicts are choosing to work at a factory where life is hard and work is difficult. I would want to ask - what is their motivation for voluntary going to the factories? Is it because they realize how damaging their drug habits are? Or because they think it's a good way to get a job, and otherwise they might be unemployed? It would be interesting to interview some of these workers and see why they chose to go to the factories.

China is a perfect example of tough laws do not stop the drug problems. Criminalizing does not work, even the possibility of death is not enough to combat drugs. Lets pay attention to that. If China has tougher laws than the U.S on drugs: that is a sign that legalization or decriminalization is the only way to combat the drug problem.

16:15 That's probably good cocaine but the humidity has ruined it and those people probably don't know any better because they've likely only had cocaine affected by humidity. They are likely going to have a sketchy high from it and have an odd candy like taste for their "drip". Any time I dumped my cocaine out to chop it up and it looked like that I would get so depressed and it would ruin my night because I would be constantly be thinking about how the high was going to be sub par. Also, when it's like that it starts to disappear into the air fast and becomes see through almost. I could tell you exactly what part of the world coke was from just by doing a line and how many times it had been "stepped" on and exactly what they used for the cutting agent just by taste and smell alone. I am clean and sober now for over 6 years.

Yahba (Thai for the little red methamphetamine pills) are a real big problem in Thailand, where I live now. Here in Thailand, you can even get the death penalty for some drugs, if a person get's caught with giant quantities... As an ex-methadone addict, I agree that you need to help treat people, not punish them. Even though methadone is easy and legal for me to take here after visiting a clinic, I have experience with addiction and know that treatment is better and the best way to get off.

I’m starting to become quite disgusted with society and films like this. Most people don’t want to get addicted to anything but sometimes their situation pushes them down the wrong path. This doco isn’t about solving the problem this is about how terrible drugs are and how bad the people that take them are.
My opinion is, when governments ban alcohol and tobacco too then you can have these documentaries where you’re above everyone else.
Until then, drug acceptance should be common place and the people that have a problem with it should have the help they need offered to them.
Obviously this is a much bigger story than I can write here but the world’s perception needs some changing.

and I cant remember if he said he got it here, or brought it. But that was on Koh Phangan. Lot's of tourists and a lot of drugs. But I was still "young" then =P
I do know some people that grow it here, but it's still shit... But I remember when I first met them, they gave me a kilo free, with a promise that I taught them how to make hash. I remember when I got it. The WHOLE plant was in 2 bags. There was still dirt on the roots and everything lol

greetings (miss Thailand :) i understand that for cannabis (domestically grown) in Cambodia, the better stuff is (mostly) reserved for export, but normally wouldn't be too difficult for a visitor(e.g. foreigner)to find (for some higher price, ofcourse) if you get to know someone (e.g. your local tuk tuk driver, eng. lang. student,etc.).Is that the same case in Thailand?as,my gosh,i'm quite sure you're not saying there isn't really good stuff grown/avail. there(best weed i ever had was fr.there :)

I'm not really sure where it comes from, but I think most of it prolly comes from Cambodia and Burma. I know a lot of the hard drugs come from Burma, since I see it on the news here a lot, but not really 100% on weed. I'm pretty sure it comes the same way though.
