just out with the guys enjoying the nice weather. Testing out the Rmax " I just got it, didn't feel like getting it swamped just yet" #Rmax2 #Yamaha #UTV #ATV
The wash down system was the hack/mod I liked best. Thanks for the idea.
nice place
at least you did not pull out an air tent and a bunch of glamping stuff that asian ladies use over seas, I always wonder how they got all the stuff in they're vehicle
here in Belgium we don't have those trails... but i always wonder what happens if another quad or buggy comes at high speed from the opposite side? Or is it a 1 way trail?
Great job
Sweet intro 👍
What tent is that?
Nice set up!
Awesome video for sure . Don’t really understand why buddy would bother with that trailer, doesn’t look like he needs it for what’s in it . Seems like more bother than it’s worth. To each their own ! I enjoyed watching , cool drone footage.
Cool! Nice video. At 31:16 the Ibuprofen and dehydration thing was new tho??? I Googled it and it could be potentialy dangerous using NSAID's like Ibuprofen, better use paracetamol like Dafalgan (that's how it's called over here in Belgium 😅)
Nice setup ! I am thinking about sizing down from my adventure bike and the TW is high on my list . Thanks for sharing .
It's definitely a great bush bike you won't regret it.
Your too close to 1000 subs not to sub in . Great drone shots and beautiful area . Looks like Ontario bush .
Thank you very much! I'm going to try and get some more videos out this year.
Dont see any recents
You should bring preground coffee instead of carrying a coffee grinder and all that stuff as well. Preground coffee is just as good especially when you’re camping.
Nice set up!
second that! well done on the efficient load out. great use of space and selection of items - i like your style, subscribed!
Thanks for watching and subscribing !
Beautiful area the lake looks nasty
Great bike choice!
Fire extinguisher
U carry a hatchet
Awesome setup you must have been a boy scout
That's one of the better packing jobs I've seen. Love how everything has a place and fits nice and snug. And it still looks relatively small on the back of the bike. Well done narrowing down what you need for the trip.
Your RMAX is nice, but doing that rocky trail in a Can Am Defender while pulling a trailer, now that's impressive!
Thanx but outfitted a mountainside lava tube. Underground parking. Tube rear has year-around ice and freshwater pools, ceiling slot portal about 30 feet up midway, making tube warmer toward parking with less humidity. Had 30 years of privacy and with no visitors. 55 gallon blue plastic storage drums have not been bothered by critters. Exposed lava prevents my dual sport access from looking like a trail. Tie-wired poles over portal so passer-by can't by accident fall inside. Entry is steel gated. 120 minute ride from my Salish Sea residence. Seed stock renewed as needed. Now have mature fruit trees.
Great vid!
You need what I built. Check out my horrible vids lol. I wish I had all that camera gear. Would improve my video's significantly!
I've seen your vids, I love your camper that thing is a beast, you got all the bells and whistle when you go out
@@escapingthegrind7000 thank you! Like to see more. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hey man, great stuff. picked up a pressure washer as well. video well done. to the point and informative.
Thank you very much !
What was the make/brand of that tent? Looks like it had some great features
Looks like so much fun . Just look at the smile on his face, memories both of you will have for life ! Thanks for sharing !
It was a blast for sure! Thank you for watching
Amazing location I’m guessing northwest somewhere ?
Yeah it's a pretty cool spot, eastern Ontario.
Yah kaun si jagah hai bhai jaan kis country mein hai 🎆🎇💝💝💝💐💐❤️❣️🥰
Seems to work fine. If you really wanted to downsize a little more you could go for a camping hammock with tarp (since you seem to be within the tree line). Doubles as chair. And instead of the fishing rod you could go for a tenkara fly fishing setup. Idk if that's worth it but it'd make a little more space. Personally, I really like simple. If you want more space: adventure bikes use soft luggage in varying sizes - whatever size you want really. Rear panniers, tank panniers, tank bags, duffle bags on the rear. The modularity is cool, you can have dedicated bags, switch them out, move the weight around and so on. But those affect the handling and cost some money. Cool bike though. Really like it.
Love the video and the fact that you and your wife get out and enjoy nature. One question, what is that radar detector looking thing mounted on the passenger side dashboard?
With all the gun laws in Canada, why would you need to bug out? 😂🇨🇦🤡
Think it's all part of a hobby, I think you're diving too deep into this 😆
If a side-by-side will go places your jeep won’t, you have the wrong jeep. Also, way too many places you can’t take a side-by-side, like roads. How long do you think you’ll survive out there without making a run to the store? 😂
Why I have a sxs is to go off roading with something that isnt my daily, that if it breaks down I can still go to work with something else. And my sxs will go on roads when it's being hauled by my truck thay also have supplies. Not sure when offroading became a survival game but I plan on going back to civilization at the end of the day or planned trip.
@@escapingthegrind7000, well you did say "Bugout" like you may be off grid for a while. I'm with Full time overlanding, I have to question your RMax outperforming Jeeps on a regular basis, are the Jeeps you're comparing it to base, stripper models? Because a stock Rubicon has lockers front and rear and is capable of running 35s. I'm thinking your opinion needs some adjustment.
What was the comment about he ibuprofen with dehydration??
I ride mine on the streets only to get offroad. They're a blast.
Just me, or did I see a Sasquatch walking past in the woods during the video?
What is that that is mounted in front of your wife?
I think you're talking about the fan, it's a 12v turbo fan I bought off Amazon. 2 years now works perfectly
Well done sir, well done!
what kind of camp stove is that? i cant seem to find it. or if your new one is better id love a recommendation! thanks so much!
I can't seem to find it on Amazon anymore but this one is kind of similar. Hope this helps! UCO Flatpack Portable Grill and Firepit a.co/d/1rO0zKe
That smile of you son with a fish millions $
Isn't the drone louder than the generator?
What kind of drones are in you're neighborhood...if my drone is louder than a generator I might be capable of much more than just taking 4k videos.
@@escapingthegrind7000 I'm just saying you complaining about noise pollution in the woods, but you are contributing to it with your drone. oh, and tw200 also creates noise which may irritate hikers, horses and mountain bikers. Just depends on your point of view. I personally don't mind any of those noises. But quiet is nice sometimes.
@@mikealger4721 I couldn't agree more with you, I was just pulling you're chain and just stating that I wouldn't run a gene for hours on end but could care less about what others do I just end up driving away and find another spot
Nice tank bag fit…brand and model please?
Sold the bike awhile ago but I believe it was a Nelson brand bag. Hope this helps
Hummmmm.... certain vids like this will not frickin load anymore! WTF is going on???
Odd I just checked on multiple devices and it loads just fine on my end
Love the camp system!! I have a 2002 TW and it has been a great bike, very few issues. I’ve been shopping for a rear rack and your system looks solid. One of the best upgrades for me was a lithium battery.
Sadly I sold this bike and I've regretted it since... lol definitely an amazing bike for sure
@@escapingthegrind7000 why in the world did you sell your tw? Wasn’t what you thought it would be or what?
@@hurt1704 I needed to carry more stuff, don't get me wrong I love the tw it was just sitting more than anything, where I go it made more sense to buy another atv
Agree utv the way to go in ontario too I do same as you prefer north of north bay this fall nfld west side of the Rock maybe 8 days honda pioneer short vids on my channel like your tent and cot setup too
Another Ontario channel, NICE!!
Sure is! Thanks for watching
Right on! This looked like time well spent. I don't think I could convince my wife to go winter camping, which is unfortunate. I had done my first winter camping trip this past winter and I really had a good time, even with the amount of work. It's not her cup of tea though, haha. I've looked at that tent you have there... appreciated you showing it off a bit in the video. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you ! To be honest it's the gear that really makes it comfortable and I think it's just that reason why I was able to get her to go haha. It was a great time for sure and we can't wait to do another one.
4:10 - BAHAHAHA!!! You're right, that didn't sound right at all - LOL Looks like you guys had a great day of rippin' up some pretty awesome trails! Good footage from your buddy's Scrambler. Was that all your footage from when you were riding his machine or was he wearing a camera too? If it was his, does he have a channel? Excellent stuff! Thanx for sharin'!
Haha yeah didn't sound good at all, it was a pretty awesome day, I just used one of my go pros and clipped it to his helmet for a bit while we were out, unfortunately he doesn't have a channel.
