My top 5 Falcons: 1) Claude Humphrey 2) Michael Vick 3) William Andrews 4) Jamaal Anderson 5) Deion Sanders Tony Gonzalez was great but mostly a Chief. Julio Jones will be there but not yet. Honorable Mention: Steve Bartkowski, Jessie Tuggle, Tom Pridemore, and Alge Crumpler.
+Chris Mathew I realize that White holds most of the receiving records for the Falcons but those 5 that I mentioned are more important in the history of the franchise, imo.
Karam al-hassanieh Turner had the better career but I went with Anderson because his 1,846 yards rushing in 1998 was better than Turner's high water mark of 1,666. Combine that with the fact Anderson led the Falcons to the Super Bowl that season (with help from Gary Andersen and Dennis Green) Jamaal was my choice. I could've also went with Gerald Riggs, whose career with the Falcons wa better than both of them but he won his Super Bowl as a short yardage specialist with the Washington Redskins in 1991.
If they do a top 5 49ers i hope Patrick Willis will be on there even though he only played seasons he was one of the best linebackers in my opinion of all time
Funny how time changes things!!! Now in 2019 Julio Jones and Matt Ryan have to be added to that list... id even go as far as taking Deion off because he wasnt a Falcon long enough and had better years with Dal/SF... my top 5... Ryan Jones Tuggle Keith Brooking Chuck Smith honorable mention Jamal Anderson Roddy White Andre Rison
Face it the FALCONS have had too many players to start throwing names on a top 5, 10, 15 or 20 list. Most NFL teams do. People keep throwing Deion Sanders on this list. Sanders never took the FALCONS to the playoff just about all by himself. Both Mike Vick and Matt Ryan has. Matt Ryan has played in more playoff games than every FALCONS Quarter Back combined.
I just found out that Jesse Tuggle and Grady Jarrett are my cousins so my mind is blown that I’ve been playing with Grady Jarrett my cousin on Madden and didn’t even know it
The "GRITZ BLITZ" defense actually gave up the 3rd least points in league history. If you only count the points that the defenses gave up and not the special teams or the offense two teams came in lower. Also in 1977, the year of the "GRITZ BLITZ" defense the league scoring was at it's lowest level in history which led to major rule changes. So the 77 Falcons come in as the 52nd best defense of all time when you measure them against the league average. The best two defenses of all time were both the Purple People Eaters from 1969 and 1970. In 69 the Vikings defense gave up just 7.5 points per game and only 12 touchdowns. In 1970 the Vikes gave up just 8.2 points per game and only 10 touchdowns all year. In the history of football since 1950 only 4 teams have given up less than one touchdown per game. Those teams were the 69,70,71 and 73 Vikings. That's right the Purple People Eaters were the greatest defense of all time and only the "Steel Curtain" was even close.
Matt Ryan is the top Falcon of all time. Falcon's only NFL MVP, only one close to getting MVP. And would have been SB 51 MVP if not for the idiocy of the coaching staff in the 4th quarter.
Tom Shady #cheater #12BestCheater #ScumOfNFL Lmao, no we aren't. I go to almost all of our home games, and most people just leave if we're not winning by the half. We have a lot of fair weather fans. In 2012, our stadium was always packed full and pretty damn loud too. But now that we're mediocre, it's kind of quiet in there.
Alright Mike Vick was kinda a beast at running but he only got over 2500 yards passing and 16 passing tds once and had an average of around 52% completion percentage and was with them for only five years then went to jail how is that a top 5 falcon
+C Fly nah listen when people heard Vick was playing everybody wanted to see. He was electrifying, and fun to watch.... No one hears Matt Ryan and says "Can't wait to watch him play Sunday night!" Unlike Vick
I feel like it is so disrespectful not to even give Mike Vick even an honorable mention. Yes, he did something wrong, but we all have to realize he has paid for his consequences. He did his time. Now it's time to look pass what he did, because none of us are perfect.
+Karam al-hassanieh Drew Brees was drafted by the chargers (was saints greatest of all time and John Riggins was drafted by the Jets was redskins 3rd greatest of all time
Tony Bravo Drew Brees was traded his rookie year and started his career with the chargers. Same reason Brett Favre isn't on this list. Tony G started his career with the chiefs
Both were great linebackers (Tuggle, Nobis) but if I had a choice between the two both being in their prime, I'm taking Nobis. I'm lucky enough to have have seen both in their prime. Choosing Tuggle because he was lucky enough to have played on a better team kinda invalidates your list in my opinion. And not only would Nobis be on my list he'd be top 2 at least. The only player that has an argument for number 1 over Nobis would be Claude Humphrey because he is a HOFer.
I thought Mike Vick would at least get a mention. he is the greatest rushing quarterback ever.
I know
Yeah, it is probably because of the time he played in atlanta.
no vick thats crazy smh
vick at least mention
+Taylor Viney Same bruh I thought that he would be like number 5 or 4!
Where's Michael Vick?
Pittsburgh.
That's what I'm saying he changed the game
+Odell Beckham Sr. lol
Ikr
I mean he got put in prison for dog fighting, but he's out now and still a good player lol.
No Steve Bartkowski or Matt Ryan?? I loved the Falcons red jerseys
1. Tommy Nobis
2. Deion Sanders
3. Claude Humphrey
4. Mike Kenn
5. Jessie "The Hammer" Tuggle
MATT RYAN
Mike Vick?
Bro wtf trash list
My top 5 Falcons:
1) Claude Humphrey
2) Michael Vick
3) William Andrews
4) Jamaal Anderson
5) Deion Sanders
Tony Gonzalez was great but mostly a Chief. Julio Jones will be there but not yet.
Honorable Mention: Steve Bartkowski, Jessie Tuggle, Tom Pridemore, and Alge Crumpler.
+Claude White So Roddy White.....?
+Chris Mathew I realize that White holds most of the receiving records for the Falcons but those 5 that I mentioned are more important in the history of the franchise, imo.
Micheal Turner was better then Jamal Anderson
Karam al-hassanieh Turner had the better career but I went with Anderson because his 1,846 yards rushing in 1998 was better than Turner's high water mark of 1,666. Combine that with the fact Anderson led the Falcons to the Super Bowl that season (with help from Gary Andersen and Dennis Green) Jamaal was my choice. I could've also went with Gerald Riggs, whose career with the Falcons wa better than both of them but he won his Super Bowl as a short yardage specialist with the Washington Redskins in 1991.
Roddy has to be on there
In Tecmo Super Bowl, I recorded 113 sacks in a season with Jessie "The Hammer" Tuggle.
Also, I was hoping to see Morten Andersen make the list.
I call bullshit on that, no way an ILB could get anywhere near that many sacks on TSB....
BigG LilWayne once you get past 100, the game only displays the last two digits, so it looked like he was the sack leader with only 13.
How the Hell is Tony Gonzolez not on the list>>? Madness!! Does nobody Remember Chris Chandler?
Brian Finneran? Tony Gonzalez? Terrance Mathis? Steve Bartkowski? Michael Vick? Morgen Andersen?
*Morten
Tony was a chief bruh
Lt. J.G Pliskin edgy
+Gullier1234 that's not even a word
exactly......
My dad always said Claude Humphrey and Lee Roy Selmon are the two best defensive ends to ever play football
Smh no Mike Vick
Falcons White jersey and Red helmet uniform is nothing but 🔥🔥🔥
I was so sure Vick would come up at 2 or 1. After the dogs, I guess NFL hates him. But still, you gotta give him credit for what he did.
Tony Gonzalez? are you serious for leaving him out?
Are you serious? He played at Atlanta for like 3 seasons.
Just checked, it's 5 seasons. Nonetheless, his five most productive seasons were still with KC.
+Wilds Pierce Tony is a Chief, not a Falcon. Jesus Christ people.
no
+Shaun Diebel IK... People really don't follow football...
Wow, Where am I?
at home typing on ur computer??
Rekt
+Julio Jones #OneFingerCatch #BestWR #NewRice You'll get there but not yet. Too early.
When they make a list in 2024 I'm sure you'll make it.
+Shaun Diebel only if he stays
Tony Gonzalez-Mike Vick- Julio Jones
Prime-time should be 1
+Austin Benton Nah he played for 5 different teams but he was really good
they werent looking at just how good they were, they were also looking for loyalty to the falcons
Nope
My top 5 would have to be 1. Jesse Tuggle 2. Deion Sanders 3. Roddy White 4. Mike Kenn 5 Claude Humphrey
0:43 You should replace Roddy White with Julio Jones
brian finneran
yeah
yeah
Brian Finneran wasn't good.
Look up his career stats. His Madden Card was Madden joke sort of.
Nah, he's a madden god but far from actually a great player
These videos are awesome, I like to hear about the stars of the past.
If they do a top 5 49ers i hope Patrick Willis will be on there even though he only played seasons he was one of the best linebackers in my opinion of all time
8 seasons my bad
The Hammer should have been number 1 who made this list..
5.Julio Jones
4.Roddy White
3.Mike Vick
2. Tony Gonzales
1. Deion Sander
Sanders
Baller Bray tbh, Tony GOAT only played with us for 3 seasons, so yeah, he practically made his name in KC
Julio has pretty much knocked Roddy off this list
Steve Bartkowski and Michael Vick should probably make the Top 5 too
Vick deserves to be on but ofc they didn't put him on for the dog incident
Michael Vick, Matt Ryan, Jamal Anderson, Deion Sanders
Rest In Peace Claude Humphrey Beautiful Soul💙🤞🏿🙏🏿
I Have had the ......Pleasure....Of seeing...... ALL.......Play
1. Vick
2. Deion
3. Julio
4. Tuggle
5. Roddy
Michael Turner would've been on this list if we would've kept him a few more years.
Tommy Nobis is my friend's grandfather 😂
How the hell does Tommy Nobis not even make #1 let alone the list?? I'd drop Roddy/The hammer off
Because these kids weren't even born when he played. Nobis was more feared than Butkus which says something.
so why is tuggle not in the hall of fame ???? he’ s one of the best mlbs of all time
5 Jamal Anderson/Jessie Tuggle
4 Deion Sanders
3 Mike Vick
2 Tommy Nobis
1 Matt Ryan
Jesse tuggle should be in hall of fame je is the all-time tackles leader
Have you met Julio Jones?
Funny how time changes things!!! Now in 2019 Julio Jones and Matt Ryan have to be added to that list... id even go as far as taking Deion off because he wasnt a Falcon long enough and had better years with Dal/SF...
my top 5...
Ryan
Jones
Tuggle
Keith Brooking
Chuck Smith
honorable mention
Jamal Anderson
Roddy White
Andre Rison
Roddy White will always be remembered for killing sherman in the playoffs
Nobis was the best ever! Too bad the babies that never saw him play did this picking.
That's the truth. What a shame they didn't see Nobis play.
Mike Vick?
Face it the FALCONS have had too many players to start throwing names on a top 5, 10, 15 or 20 list. Most NFL teams do.
People keep throwing Deion Sanders on this list. Sanders never took the FALCONS to the playoff just about all by himself. Both Mike Vick and Matt Ryan has.
Matt Ryan has played in more playoff games than every FALCONS Quarter Back combined.
regardless of anything Vick should have been on there.
exactly number 1 you ask me
where is joulio jones
Next do top bengals of all time
Tony Gonzalez and Brian finneran
I actually met and got a picture/autograph from Roddy White
I just found out that Jesse Tuggle and Grady Jarrett are my cousins so my mind is blown that I’ve been playing with Grady Jarrett my cousin on Madden and didn’t even know it
1 Deion Sanders
2 Mike Kenn
3 Andre Rison
4 Claude Humphrey
5 Jesse Tuggle
6 Julio Jones
7 Tommy Nobis
8 Jeff Van Note
9 Jamal Anderson
10 Matt Ryan
Tommy Nobis should replace Roddy White...
Before I watch the video Roddy White will be on herw
Correctamungo
Wizardly Offical yeet
+Bryson Williams 😂

#1 is the peregrine falcon. saved you a few minutes.
Matt Ryan is the top Falcon of all time. Falcon's only NFL MVP, only one close to getting MVP. And would have been SB 51 MVP if not for the idiocy of the coaching staff in the 4th quarter.
This person gets it. Ryan and Nobis should be on this list ahead of guys like Deion and White. No doubt.
If you are the MVP change the play!!
I say it's Tony Gonzolez
Do the top 5 New England Patriots
Where is Tim Dwight for his action. Kick off return in Superbowl?
Could you guys do best Detroit Lions of all time
Idk y I’m watching this in 2020 but where is mike Vick Matt Ryan and Julio jones
Any top 5 list without Tommy Nobis is ridiculous.
No Vick, Jamal Anderson, Deion Sanders in third? Not a falcons fan but this list is very disrespectful
why is Deion on a falcons list he won more and played more on the boys...
Did they forget Mike Vick played for the Falcons?
Lol that's what I was thinking
they're using the dog fighting situation to keep him off
I love this nfl team go Falcons
#1 player is whoever pumped fake crowd noise into the stadium.
^^my boy
+Tom Shady #cheater #12BestCheater #ScumOfNFL Roddy White did it. Not the WR but someone who worked in the stadium. Kind of funny.
+Shaun Diebel you're gay
+Shaun Diebel only a idiot would pump fake crowd noise into a indoor stadium. I guess their fans aren't known for getting loud.
Can't believe Roddy White isn't even a starter anymore.
I love deion Sanders
matt
You should do top 10 packers if all time
Top 5 Patriots
thought Vick and Julio would be here for sure .
Ok where's Vick on the list? lol definitely deserved a spot!
you guys have got to be kidding Michael Turner and matt ryan would be on here before Vick
He still is in the league
Alright Mike Vick was kinda a beast at running but he only got over 2500 yards passing and 16 passing tds once and had an average of around 52% completion percentage and was with them for only five years then went to jail how is that a top 5 falcon
Don't even make me compare that to Matt Ryan
+C Fly nah listen when people heard Vick was playing everybody wanted to see. He was electrifying, and fun to watch.... No one hears Matt Ryan and says "Can't wait to watch him play Sunday night!" Unlike Vick
I love deion Sanders primetime deion Sanders bros
No Tommy Nobis? He's only just a hall of famer.
Gonzalez, Vick, Finerann and soon Jones
JULIO!
11
so i guess we just gonna forget Brian Finneran existed
Mike Vick, Tony Gonzalez, Julio Jones where they at?
Julio jones Vick tony Gonzalez
No Jeff Van Note? No Bartkowski? No William Andrews? No Tommy Nobis???
why is Julio Jones not on the list he is the best WR in the league now (arguably
He's only been around for like 5 seasons though..
He's to young
Devonta freeman has to be on the list
Micheal Vick, Devin Hester, Julio jones
Wtf are you talking bout Hester as barely do anything with the Falcons compared to what he did with the Bears
+HTTR Nation he is popular a popular person on a team
jones
+Nathan Hawk fr
Where's Tommy Nobis?
man this was too depressing once roddy was on this list
#1 deion im calling it rn
welp im not a falcons fan
+Jazzy Batra You don't have to be to know that Deion should be at 1. His athletic ability is almost unparalleled.
1. Tony gonzolaz
2. Neon Deon
3. Mike Vick
4. Brian Finneran
5. Julio Jones
Mike Vick Tony Gonzales Brian Finneran
can you make the top 10 eagles of all time
let's not forget Andre Rison too!
u forgot the millennium falcon.
Andre Rison?
I feel like it is so disrespectful not to even give Mike Vick even an honorable mention. Yes, he did something wrong, but we all have to realize he has paid for his consequences. He did his time. Now it's time to look pass what he did, because none of us are perfect.
If anyone should receive an honorable mention, it wouldn't be Vick's overrated ass. It would be Tommy Nobis, Matt Ryan, or Julio Jones.
Amen
William Andrews? Bartkowski? Andre rison?
i watched this video in hopes of seeing a William Andrews highlight shame on you NFL
Julio and tony G
+Zach Lambert julio has not played long enough
Tony G was drafted by the chiefs so he's not exactly a falcon
+Karam al-hassanieh Drew Brees was drafted by the chargers (was saints greatest of all time and John Riggins was drafted by the Jets was redskins 3rd greatest of all time
Tony Bravo they played the rest of their very very long careers their. Tony G played only like 5 years there. Cant compare that.
Tony Bravo Drew Brees was traded his rookie year and started his career with the chargers. Same reason Brett Favre isn't on this list. Tony G started his career with the chiefs
Julio Jones after his career will be #1 on this list
Do top 5 Vikings
Both were great linebackers (Tuggle, Nobis) but if I had a choice between the two both being in their prime, I'm taking Nobis. I'm lucky enough to have have seen both in their prime.
