If you see me use white color in any video, I use an opaque watercolor called DESIGNER'S Gouache, color: Permanent White (an opaque version of watercolor) I use it instead of my regular watercolor whites which are too transparent for my style of painting.

I love the way you put together your tutorials! So much detail, easy to follow, without taking away from watching the actual work in progress. And you even mention the small things (ie: "When you see my brush going off to the left that's when I'm wiping off my brush on a towel") - which, when someone is just starting out, is so valuable. And in such a short time!

My mother passed away in April. About a week before, she said to me "if I come riding in on a feather will you talk to me?"' I asked her if that was how she would visit me. Last night I thought to myself I want to paint a feather. And this morning I see your video in my suggestions! Your painting is so beautiful and realistic. Maria Raczynska no, it’s a photo, she was 10 years. We had to let her sleep in october, because she was in pain, real tough pain 😭

Maria Raczynska Thanks, she had problems with her hips already from the start so we could Trainer her like others, but in september she started to horrible pain after walking 3000 meters or so, she couldn’t stand on her own and when I lifted her she had so much pain, she ”screamed” so thinking of that we know that she now are free from pain and it was the right and only things to do!
Ohhh that’s so sad Ann Marie.. I’m really sorry.. my mom had to do the same with our dog, he had cancer and was hurting so badly.. so I’m really sorry.. I know it’s heart breaking..
It made me dream. If there was a watercolorist god, it would be you.

Oh! If I may, could I ask you a quick question? I was just wondering, but if you could just get one brush, do you think it would be best to get a pointed mop brush?I've just started using watercolor.
Hi Christopher :) thank you so much! really nice to read your comments. I prefer landscapes, nature animals from painting people haha I have painted people before but I feel like it would be too personal to paint someone and use it in a video as a tutorial ;) If it comes down to a brush.. it really depends because everyone has a favorite brush! Some people love mop brushes and that's what they use to create their entire paintings... I personally love angular brushes and I use them all the time, 1/2 and 3/4. My next favorite brush would be Round 3 by Raphael. I see myself constantly using it. Every brush has a purpose but also every artist tends to use that one brush the most. I think you have to test it out yourself, if you can get cheaper synthetic: round brush, angular one, rigger, mop etc and see which one you pick to paint with the most :)

Hey Maria! =) I went out today and bought myself a #3 brush!! I got 3 for the price of 1, so I guess I got my "one brush" lol =D I actually got a synthetic one, and the funny thing was that I wasn't going to do that (thinking that natural is better), but I got your comment on my phone before I was going to buy the brushes, and it changed my mind completely about that. Seeing what you can do made me realize that favoring natural brushes is nonsense since you can do what you do using them. :-) So that's that. I got my brush(es) Also, I was thinking about what you said about painting portraits, and you're totally right. There's a privacy issue there. I was thinking about making one of my own videos doing a portrait but I think I better get written permission or at least some level of consent before I do that ... anyway, right now I'm inspired to do landscapes. haha. Yeah. Thank you, Maria =)

Maria Raczynska Thanks for reply a lot❣️ I paint a lot,just have not done watercolours since childhood,I’m into acrylics and oil,inks and other craft but they are totally different in work and process than watercolour...lately I took up on watercolour more than nothing as challenge,hoping I learn something I’m missing..and yes,you’re wright we are very critical of our self cos apart of me people who saw my feathers in watercolour everybody loves them...I’m just crazy perfectionist and never happy with my work,always wanting more..I guess we all in some ways are especially critical with own work and see in them all things we would like to change..others don’t ever see those things and loook at us as crazy when we point things we don’t like out...By the way,since this morning after seeing this video of yours I already painted 5 feathers,last 2 Im quite happy with,so thanks a lot for you’re videos and lessons.I subscribed and waiting for more of you’re works.Wish you the best in all,keep creating,keep inspired.Thanks again💝💐🌟

I knew the more you paint the better you will get at it and will start liking them😋😉its all in practice!!☺️💕and don't ever let anyone to discourage you. Also important to remember we all see colors, light, shadows in different ways, so its ok to paint things differently🤗🌸You mentioned alcohol inks.. I have been meaning to try them.. Can I paint on a tile with them? I saw an artist on instagram paining ocean waves on a shiny top... I couldn't tell if those were inks but I think they were. Once I buy them do I need another tool to spread them? I noticed people use a hairdryer? thank you🤗

Hi Suimin 🤗☺️I believe you are reffering to a Rigger Brush/ Liner Brush or Script Liner brush, different names but the same brush :) I recommend Script liner Brush size 0 or 2 “Golden Natural” by Silver Brush, but there are other brands that carry these as well.. like Cotman - Rigger Brush or Utrecht’s Rigger Brush, for Watercolors. thank you so much!!
