That whole tiktok looks like STNH. I've used GPT a ton -- for fun, math homework, writers block, grading student math quizes, custom alarms to wakeup/eat lunch/go home, etc. etc. etc. .... it has _never_ used filled pauses ("umm", "erm", "ohh", etc.)
This is probably scripted. It's also interesting how it cuts in and out, a lot like a push-to-talk radio. Notice how on some it has 2 sections that it cuts in with... GPT never responds twice to 1 prompt. It never doubletexts you. Another giveaway that this is fake and probably scripted.
A 3rd giveaway is the text-to-speech (TTS) inflections. TTS AI is pretty random in how it decides to inflect a written sentence you feed it. Sometimes it will sound like a sarcastic British actor reading a dry joke. Sometimes it will be energetic. It's also random between prompts; that is to say it doesn't remember the tone it took in the last entry you gave it.
It might have been bitingly sarcastic on the last prompt, and now it's happy-go-lucky valley girl.
But these TTS are very consistent in tone. If you were scripting this, you would feed each line to the TTS AI and ask for ... say... 5 versions of it saying that line. Then select ones that keep a consistent tone.
TTS AI also tends to go off the rails after 2-3 sentences. This is why she has to break up long responses, and then queue them up separately. Making it appear that GPT responded twice back-to-back. But really she scripted it, fed 2 lines to the TTS AI, picked out versions of those 2 lines that had a consistent tone, and then used her phone to trigger through the individual sound files while she records her lines.

This highlights the age old problem of wanting your partner to meet all your needs perfectly. No one can do that. There's a similar problem when someone gets obsessed with a fictional book or movie character. Perfectly written, scripted, and built for you to love. Same thing with pornography, how sex is portrayed as perfect every time. Real life isn't like that, it's better.

35 to 44 was shocking to me, I am within that demographic but coming from a programming background I cannot see AI as anything other than what it is - A tool. It is not a real human, it is responding based on a coded algorithm or database. well, technology has accelerated how we do a lot of things. Of course degeneracy and rot will spread faster with mediums such as the internet or even basic phone calls. And even if those failed, as long as gas is available, a car can make the same travel that takes a horse a day, in 25 minutes. Ideas (yes, that includes civilizationally suicidal ones) are able to travel much faster, and that is not always good. One last thought to dwell on, the faster a radioactive element decays, the more poisonous, ergo destructive they are.

One of the tropes of SciFi that i kind of like is the idea of an AI/Robot friend (especially the sassy AIs), and i think at some SciFi depicts ways in which AI friendships could work and not be a bad thing. However leaving aside any questions about consciousness, another way to think of them, which is also depicted in SciFi, is AI as the next evolution of our own cyberbrain, or techo-cortex, that talking to an AI "friend" or assistant is more like talking to yourself, like a more advanced version of an inner monologue. I think this is part of why it's feels sad and probly not healthy when people say their only close friend is an AI, because really, you're just talking to yourself. That AI is just a black mirror version... of you! Which gets back to the narcissism of an AI BF/GF, you're really just "dating" yourself.
Perhaps the biggest problem right now is that all these AIs are centralized, collecting everyone's data and conversations, and doing who knows what with it. I'd be open to an open source AI friend/assistant that runs 100% locally, on my phone or something. But i don't wana send all my data and convos to OpenAI.
I've cursed at an unhelpful AI chatbot, but never have I ever flirted with AI.
I wrote a letter to my governor Gavin Newsom expressing my concerns over A.I girlfriends and it potentially replacing women and dividing us more than ever. Now I just need my mom to send it. Let's pray that it does get sent and read and that something is done about it, at least here in California. If Ron DeSantis can restrict social media for minors, I'm sure Gavin Newsom can restrict this too.

This has given me some something new to play with for a few hours.
What's sad is that because of internet interaction and its immediate appeal, a lot of people don't get to know their neighbors and people in their community. There are so fewer public free places, much less any popular ones, like YMCAs and community centers (most of which are shut down now) or churches (which are frowned upon for being judgmental instead of welcoming, but this depends on the church!), or libraries (hardly anyone ever actually goes there) or dancing clubs (which were hugely popular once). We were struck by the appeal of online "friends" and "community" and a lot of the places where we used to find REAL community are shut down or unappealing now. And now that we're becoming disillusioned from online substitutes that don't measure up, we don't know how to get back to the happiness we had before.
I'm not saying the past was perfect, because it had a lot of issues. But at least people actually talked to each other.

I think it’s less stupidity and more desperation. The Uniparty has been wildly successful in its goal of dividing men and women into two classes of people that utterly hate each other. The data doesn’t lie, it is actually a major concern for the near future and possibly the whole of humanity.

They replaced fathers with government now they will replace relationships with AI and they will continue to replace physical intimacy with toys. Why should we stop it? I hope everyone ends up dating AI robots in the future. Real people abuse, cheat, lie, and gaslight their partners. This technology is a step in the right direction to a better future.
