Good video, also applies to the Thinkpad Yoga L380, a word of caution, when removing the bottom cover to disconnect the battery it's advisable to remove the pen from its bay before taking the bottom cover off, if not the pen charging contacts can be damaged.
WARNING! The method of "snapping the plastic cover off" shown starting 4:04 is NOT correct! If you proceed that way you'll end up with broken screen (as I did) - there are tabs on the top of the cover (you can see them on the video) that slide under the display. If you force it the way shown it may (will?) crack the thin glass of the display!!! Instead proceed like this: after removing the two screws that hold the plastic cover, flip the display all the way to the back (i.e. tablet mode). Then put some plastic tool (plastic card, etc.) in the slot at the (side) edge of the display and crack it slightly open. During this you may consider holding with your finger the side of the plastic cover, that touches the display - such that it does not exert force on the display glass. After all the clips on the edge of the display are released, lift that bottom side slightly up and then towards you (away from the glass of the display). This will ensure safe release of the cover. To reassemble - use the reverse order!
after a couple of of hours looking around for a video showing how too disassemble a Lenovo B50-30 touch (20383) display. to replace the video LCD-LED cable. I found this great video exactly what I needed. not the same laptop but the idea on how to is prefect.
Great video, thank you! Can you show a digitizer replacement as well? Does it simply "stick on" to the frame using double-sided tape to the front of the LCD? Does it peel away easily?
Nice video. I used the steps here. I normally don’t unplug the battery. This time I did. Now the device won’t power up correctly. I’m guessing I’ll have to replace the battery. Other than that very informative steps👍🏾
Thank you so much for your tutorial. I got motivation again after desperate before. My TPY-260 (FHD) just crack on the screen and gratefully it has a screen guard as your mention in video and I would like to replace it. The problem is in Indonesia (country which I live in) there are no seller who sells the screen replacement. :-( If I bought from your shop, how much total it will take for ship to Indonesia?
I dont want to replace the screen on mine, its the back panel that broke around the hinges, due to just normal opening closing. Where cn I find just the back panel (behind the lcd screen) and the plastic tab too (4:04)?
Hello I have this exact same Lenovo yoga 260 laptop please can you help me to remove/bypass the password, or can someone please give me a rough idea on what procedure might be able to resolve my problem, like maybe removing and replacing a chip or the same with the motherboard. Please please someone must know how, thankyou in advance.

Would this also work with the Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen1? I did found a assembly thought about exchanging the screen by myself.
Спасибо! Выручили) только на видео я не сраззу понял, что модуль дисплея нужно сдвигать вниз)
