I hate spam but that actually looked good. I would have added an onion to fry up with the potatoes and added a couple fried eggs on the top of the gravy. Perfect for breakfast. Never eaten canned potatoes.
I love Spam sliced thin and fried crispy. Try it that way. Turkey Spam is my favorite. It isn't as salty. I usually love salty food, but Spam is a little too much for me. Try the Turkey Spam. Maybe you will like it better and don't forget to slice thin and fry until crispy.
I love Spam fried rice! While spam is definitely not my favorite canned meat, I do appreciate having in my pantry for quick meals. I think we’re all going to need everything we have on our pantry in the coming months. Thanks for the great recipes!

I love having spam in the pantry. My favorite way to use it is sliced and browned with some hash browns and egg and topped with tomato jam. . Used to make it when we went camping.
I may prefer the spam over the canned ham. I'm not sure if I can articulate the flavor difference, it isn't much, but It may be the texture of spam I like better.

I haven't tried them as mashed potatoes yet but I may have to soon. 😊
You can boil them and then mash it. I find it to be comparable to the packaged dried mash potatoes but not over-whipped. Try it
