Oh man, I watched this video and thought you must have at least 100k subs. But when you said you have 300, I said no way! You deserve a way more, great review.
@@MFT_RAW I agree totally with Albert. Excellent production and presentation. You've a great voice for this kind of thing and are very easy to understand and talk at a perfect pace. Keep at it and you will definitely grow your viewership.
I currently have the 17 f1.4, 50 f2 and 35 f1.4. No complaints here! I love them all, they remind me of how we used to shoot in the 70's. Mechanically they look sound, optically they deliver and all without any finacial stress. Winners. Too bad they do not have a rectilinear 8mm or thereabouts. By the way, their rendering reminds me of SMC Takumars (M42) and old Leitz lenses that I still regularly use on my Olympus bodies.
Liking the dreamy softish look tbh. I actually hate things if they are too sharp. For £60? No brainer! Not sure if you've tried the Sigma 56mm f.1.4 for M43 yet Dave but honestly I don't think I've used another lens for about 6 months. Focus by wire but even so, love it.
I haven't tried that lens yet, but the Sigma mft lenses are all excellent. I used to have the Old sigma 60 f2.8 and it is a really nice lens, but just a little too long for my work. That's probably what's stopped me from going for the 56.
• Anyone whos purchasing or purchased ttartisans 35mm f1.4- it has a 39mm filter thread & if wanting to use filters on front of Lens & you already have filters but larger sized ones, just buy some 'filter step-up rings'..for example: 39-52mm, this may save you money, rather than buying same filter/filters in a 39mm size too. Enjoy! 👍
I bought a copy of this lens here in China. I sent it back because it was a really tight fit onto my EM1 mkii and I was concerned it would do some damage. It was a pity as I was really looking forward to giving it a try. Great review and presentation btw,
I will buy my first manual lens so which one will be better for night, street, and potrait photography ttartisan 35 f1.4 or ttartisan 50mm f1.2, plz tell me I am really confused
Hey bruf, u earn a sub! Most reviewers always talk about the pros, and less about the cons, but i prefer reviewers being honest and focus on the cons. That way its easier to evaluate it for buying. Anyways, keep the MFT alive bruf! :) would u consider reviewing the TTArtisan 17mm 1.4? I'm hunting for sharp lens on a budget. Thanks for the vids mate Edit : Oh you bought it! Can't wait!
I like these cheap Chinese lenses as do my decade old Sony apsc mirrorless cameras. I also like quirky-ness of them, My favourite aspect to these lenses as I have the 50mm as well is they make my images look authentic and not pin sharp like they are on steroids!
I had the og pocket cinema camera. Such a beautiful image. Loved that camera and would get it again if one came up for the right price. But no. I'd imagine it would be nice to use with the super 16 sensor.
I'll admit, you do get a bit of a sinking feeling when you first open the box and see it. It's so small! If I wasn't made of metal, it would be very toy-like.
they got this on bh for 70 or so brand new ....shoutout to my dawg trump hahah.....this lens is so tempting for the price and reviews and this video I was actually looking for vids on this thing for m43... bro that shot of the flower at 1.4 looks really good... I am really really tempted after this video!
Mmmm looks good👍🏼🔥... I do use alot of vintage glass, so that should fit right in my collection. I wounder how it will look if used with a speed booster 😋..... So maybe with a viltrox Sony E mount to m43rds. The speed booster turn it from a f1.4 to maybe a f0.8....😳
Great presentation...clear, concise and fluid, love it! You’re a rising star on the review scene, keep up the fab content👍
Thank you mate. These comments mean a lot. Especially when you're a small channel.
Great review, looking forward to the 17mm review now!

When you only have a few sub and get comments like this, it's massive encouragement to keep going. Thanks mate, well appreciated.

50mm more light but longer lens. More suitable portrait, 3mmbetter street.
Great review full of insightful info. I have their fisheye, good quality, and solid as a rock.
Thanks mate. I think some of the Chinese lenses are underrated and they're getting better and better.
Really nicely presented, great review Subscribed!
Ordered this lens in the L-mount last week. Can’t wait to get it and test it out!

Hi thanks for the video. Were you also able to try the TTartisan 50 f1.2 x MFT?
Lovely images and review / Ulf
Honest review. Subscribed.
Have you ever used it with a OG pocket cinema camera?

It's pretty sharp and I have used it on my Sony a6000and nex c3 for half a year, but it still looks like a toy for me🤣🤣

awesome video, keep it up
I really like and enjoy this lens on my Fujifilm camera's along with the TT 50 1.2 lens... Thanks
You're welcome. Do you get that colorful glare with the Fuji version? It happens to me when stopped down below f5.6
@@MFT_RAW I have not noticed any glare, but I don't shoot below 5.6, mostly 2.8-4..
Top work :)

Hi, super noob question here. Since this lens uses a screw on type lens cap, will a typical pinch snap on lens cap work on this lens?
Hi mate. Yes you can still use a normal cap. If you can find one small enough.
@@MFT_RAW Thanks! Just to be sure I need to find a 39mm lens cap, yes?
Yeah man. 39mm. Not 37 like I said it n the video. But the cap it comes with is fine really.
@@MFT_RAW Alright. Thanks mate!
You saved me more money, thanks for that.
You're welcome. But I'm curious. Did you decide to go for the lens, or did I put you off it?
@@MFT_RAW decided not to get it. Will most likely stay with M.Zuiko
That's probably the wise choice. Nice one Gary.

Is not sharp.
