Having your first car is one of the greatest feelings in the world. Right away I wanted to go wash my car and add the seat covers and all that. I was sooo excited. I even bought air fresheners and a cute little puffball zipper bag for my registration and mini flashlight. Enjoy your car! 💕💕💕

Your car is just adorable! My husband just bought me my dream car, a 2017 white convertible with a tan top. Makes me soooooo happy. Wonder why they call yours triple white.
TheBerkeleyBeauty Congrats! It's triple white because the exterior is white, my seats are white and I have a white cover that goes over my convertible top (I forgot to show it in the video) when it's down so hence triple white :) you can google it to see what it looks like with the cover

Very Nice, I had a 2006 gecko green beetle. Her name was Mandy. I miss her, but now I have a white 2014 beetle and love it. Your video actually gave me a few cute ideas to make it a little more girly, so thanks for this video.

Yes I think it'll be fine. The seats go back really far and my dad is 5' 10 and he's comfortable when he drives

Sooooo , this is one of my top choices for my first car ! My question is , how well does the Convertable top hold up when it rains really hard ? Does it ever leak and when you do the maintenance , do you have to take it to the VW dealership or can you pretty much take it anywhere ?
No I never had any problems with leaking. I always took it to VW for basic maintenance but I recommend if you know a mechanic who knows how to work on these cars go to them it would be cheaper then VW

+Darreon Wilson honestly no because these cars have a lot of problems (at least the older ones) im already having a few issues with mines thats going to cost me at least $3000. But it is a good car for college and its great on gas a full tank lasts me two weeks

+Yana Lynne kinda but not really. It's a 2.5L engine. A full tank lasts about a week

Hi im looking to buy a beetle in a few months i want to know if the insurence is expensive since its convertable? Is it true that the convertable tops get ruined with the rain over time?
aitanaal no it being a convertible doesnt really have anything to do with the insurance being high. The reason mines is a bit high is because im young and my deductable is $500. And it rains everyday here in florida and so far my top is fine plus i have lifetime warranty on my top

Yes be prepared to spend a lot of money on these cars especially if they have a lot of miles
No! I love mine, you just have to take care of it. meaning no oil changes at Walmart, and paying attention to maintenance. my beetle is the most reliable car I've ever owned.
+julina adams Yea and maintenance for these cars vw in general is expensive an oil change is $80 at vw so either way your going to be spending more money then the cars worth

How many problems have you had with this car? I was going to get a 2002 vw beetle but after reading reviews everyone is saying its a lot of upkeep. I was hoping to get a car and not deal with stuff like that because I'm 16 and don't have any money for repairs etc
Please do yourself a favor and don't purchase any of the older beetles. Idk how the new models are but the older ones definitely stay away from. Ive had and still have so many problems with this car and i've only had it for a year. I have about $5000 worth of things that need to be fixed and thats how much i have left to pay on my loan. Right now my A/C is broken and im suffering in this FL heat. I mean their cute and all but very expensive to maintain. Good luck.
Iv had my 2002 beetle for 3 years now and the only things I've had to do is fix the window and replace a tire but those are things my dad could easily do for me, it just depends what condition the car is in when you get it. It doesn't really matter how old the car is
do always a professional check up before you buy a 14 year old car and can not do the repairs yourself. does not matter what brand. Cheers

No not really. It's kind of hard to explain but depending on which way the rain is falling you'll get a few drops on the door but definitely not leaking

Oh my goodness your car is bubble gum to my YUM like oh my gosh my question for you is I am also considering a 2007 Volkswagen convertible but I always think that someone can break the hood so I always debate about that what do you think is it sturdy that even if you put a knife or something it won't come off or would you prefer to get the regular top?
Excellence Baby honestly youll be fine. The top is actually pretty hard and sturdy so it would be kind of difficult for someone to cut through with a regular knife and i think it would be very odd looking if someone was hacking away at a car with a knife they would draw quite a bit of attention lol and i would get a convertible any day its so much fun to ride with the top down in the evening with the wind blowing on you its great :)
