- Preparing the new shop location has taken me on a somewhat unexpected path. I am replacing the shop floor sooner then I thought I would have to.

Congratulations on the new shop.
Yes, do shop Videos. 👍😎
I love shop build type stuff. Do what you gotta do!
Lots to do that's for sure.
Make a video about the whole project! Everyone would love to see how you build a shop
Curious as to how you'll repair the slab and what you'll need to safely install lifts you plan. Congrats on the new shop, but sorry the floor's such a nightmare.
Ahh floors not to bad. They did such a bad job it makes tearing it up easy. Now at least I get to have the slab I want with drains and what not done the way I want.
👍👍👍
I take it you have also inspected the wiring in the garage?
Yes, I have to do a bit of wiring. It was done half assed.
I know you are busy with your new project; never the less, I wanted to ask you about my 2008 Sierra 1500. It has a collapsed valve on cylinder 1. I order the tools you creates to try to fix it. If I am successful doing the work with the valve and installing the small metal on the sensor housing and breaking the seal where you said to do it on your videos. Do I have to do anything else? Knowing my truck is old and it has 318 thousand miles.
You will still need the tune done. Lt1swap.com is a good source for this.
I’m not super familiar with car hoists, do you typically just bolt them to a slab? Seems like you would want an isolated pier that went down to the frost line.
Yeah goes to the floor. Need at least 4in reinforced slab. You could only do columns if it's not on a floating slab in this colder climate.
is it possible to un-stick a lifter on a 2014 gmc sierra l83 engine with your tool?
Yes, if it has a collapsed AFM lifter.
